Not get blown out when you do lose... it is hard to come back from that... the math doesn't forget.
Nebraska - Losses: 9 by 125 pts total with 6 by double digits
Wisconsin - Losses: 12 by 114 pts total with 4 by double digits
Mich St ‐ Losses: 13 by 90 pts total with 3 by double digits

Getting the 3 seed over the 4 seed was massive as we think we got the best path to get to the finals as any team.

It's a joke. It's something that Creighton fans say unironically about every single recruit in the top 150 before and especially after they commit that these elite players will fit perfectly into McDermott's system. Like, duh, you'll have more success when you recruit high level players.
It's just our way of mocking them. That's all.

Maybe this has been posted elsewhere, but Edey won't use his Covid year:

I put together a piece for Hail Varsity on Josiah's senior day performance and what this season has meant to him if anyone is interested in reading it.

kldm64 reacted to Nighthawk in Kevin McHale question
Loved the locker room visit by Kevin McHale...but I have questions. Was his visit something that the camera crew and the PA announcers were told to not say anything about? Or is everyone in that group just oblivious to who he is? Cameras can spot our football coach or our future starting QB in an instant. You'd think that there would have been one camera shot of McHale in the stands or the PA Announcer saying that there was a former three time NBA champion in the house.
No complaints or issues...just more of a curiosity of how those kind of things play out.

Statistic wise, he may not be a top ten player, but as far as overall impact to the program he’s at the very top. He’s become an international ambassador of the university and just a great kid. And he grew the popularity of the program. He got other fan bases talking like nobody else I’ve seen. I remember seeing a post on this board last year about someone seeing two Asian guys wearing Tominaga jerseys as they arrived to PBA. It’s moments like that when you know he’s having a huge impact. Now you see a lot of 30 jerseys, worn by all kinds of people. All my interactions with him - he’s been very gracious, accommodating, and responds with “thank you” when you say something to him. He will truly be missed and I hope he comes back often.

I'll worry about who is coming back after the season if over. In the mean time, just enjoy the ride and don't stress about who is returning at this point.

Regardless where he ranks if I am picking a dream team starting 5 of players that ever put on a Husker jersey he's one of them.

I guess that depends on who you're referring to and what those comments are. There are some locally who are very high on him.
If you want the critical breakdown, decision-making still has plenty of room for improvement, although it's tough to hold that against him too much considering the pieces around him at Bryan. He's pretty turnover-prone, both getting his dribble ripped when he tries to do too much and some bad passing. Takes some really tough shots at inopportune times. This may just be a strength thing that a college S&C program will solve, but he can struggle to finish around the basket with even a little bit of contact at times.
That being said, I've been impressed by the improvements he's made. He really did have a terrific season individually. The 3-point shot was more flashes than an actual weapon for him until this season (low 3s his first two seasons and didn't make many at all for MOKAN last summer), and this year he nearly doubled his attempts and still shot 40%. He's a very different player if the shot is for real, and it appears to be getting there. Good frame, long wing span, athletic enough. He can make some plays off the dribble, but we'll have to see how that translates to college. He rebounds it well, has some moves in the post and can make some impressive plays in transition.
