I see that no one has responded to your two inquiries on this.  What do you know ?   Am I recalling correct that you have an optimistic outlook on his potential?  Based on him being a bit younger and the fact that people aren’t going nuts about him, safe to say that most are not expecting him to play significant minutes next year.  Since he’s from Lincoln, would be great if he turns into a success story.  Given everything, there’s likely going to need to be some perseverance.

Eliminate the NIT. Add 28 teams to the tournament so the bottom 64 have a play in game on Tue or Wed at higher seed. Top 32 get a bye.  Or just expand to 128 teams if you don't like the bye. Keep the CBI or the new tournament for your mid major schools that don't make the tournament.

It would be interesting on how many players leave because "the grass is always greener" but find out that it's not and wished they would have stayed where they were at.

I'm usually not to worried about the starting 5 being good.  It's the next 4 off the bench that determine how good of team you will have.  In the past, we have had a great starting lineup until you have to sub in and then it as a pretty big drop-off. This year, we were fortunate that wasn't the case.

The only counter point I'd make, because I agree with you, is in professional sports EVERY contract isn't up EVERY year.

Only time will tell.  Just like any new hire, everyone will think it's a great hire (which is what fans do) and maybe it is but no way to know till about 5 years down the road.

I guess I'm not following. I was just stating that we've actually given our coaches the support they need to succeed here. That's exactly getting behind Fred 100%.
