The below table is a collection of the players we are returning and the ones we are bringing in. Included is name, height, position, eligibility status, shooting splits, and per game averages. I just thought having it all together in one place, in this thread, would be helpful when discussing and debating next year.

He isn't eligible til 21-20 so Kobe Webster will be gone. 

I think everyone might be overreacting here, could be a simple answer.. Donovan is a very talented, ball dominate, scoring guard who would have fit pretty good with what Miles wants to do. Fred has a much different style than Tim. He likes spacing and sharing the ball, not clear outs for guys. I think that is why Burke and Green maybe did not flourish like we hoped they would. Would Donovan adapted his game and flourished? Does he want to? Maybe he is looking for a system that will highlight his strengths.
 
Fred honored the offer and Donovan chose not to sign which was his choice. Then Fred moved on probably hoping to find guys more suited to his style. Don’t think it is a coincidence that Creighton did not offer as their system might not be the perfect match either.

I have no issue with D.W. doing whatever he wants. I doubt I'll be praising him, he's still a kid just trying to make his way. We've all been in the 'shoes' as a nineteen year old....

I agree when Thor has to be the focal point of the offense, but as a guy who can complement the other components, I have a hard time seeing Fred not throwing him in there.  He can also shoot the hell out of the ball now, is a good finisher, and very good passer.  He's also a serviceable defender.  Those might be erasers for his deficiencies.  

Yes the signing period has been pushed back as of now since players cannot take any on campus visits to make decisions. 

If it wouldve worked out with Mack, I think we would have been sneaky good next year.
 
Still think we will be much improved next year and am excited to work with the pieces we have moving forward.

Good interview 0:00 thru about 33:00. First 10 mins are intro, etc, & Fred Hoiberg having to leave the game at Indianapolis because of illness. Starting about 10:00 talks about the team some, current status, very complimentary of Delano Banton. From 20:00 thru 33:00 talks about recruiting philosophies, transfers, and how recruiting has changed because of coronaviras limitations.
 

I was listening to Matt A intervew from Rivals (lots a good stuff on attrition, recruiting, the staffs take on rebounding). It was the first media appearance by anyone from the basketball staff in idk how long. He made it a point to say that HCFH's goal is to always put the five most skilled players, in terms of their system, on the floor and he doesnt really base it off of your traditional basketball positions. Mentions how they played George Niang (who is 6'6-6'7) as their 5 a lot of the time. My point is, if Kevin Cross is one of the five most skilled players on the team, its very possible he could be used in that same role. 

Hard to say.  I think it would’ve depended on matchups.

I’d call that a positionless, skilled, switch everything lineup who should be pretty darned good on both ends.  I’m not sure who Mack or Webster knocks out.  An in shape Cross would fit right in, so I agree with you there.  
 
Now if we’re not grooming DB to be a PG, all bets are off.  It’s going to be a blast to watch.  

Who was our other backup at the 5?  Fred has publicly said he had no choice but to use him there and can't wait to see him at the 4 next season.  Walker makes this inevitable.  
 
There was no plan to move Morrow to the 4.  I think that's why he left.

I assume he'll transfer somewhere closer to home and apply for a hardship waiver

I believe I've read where Adama Sanogo has decided NOT to reclassify and stay with his 2021 class.  (We are still well in the running for 2021)

Mack is almost certainly gone but it's technically not impossible for him to be back.  There is also the possibility that he could be ineligible if he hires an agent.
 
Seems like Thor and Yvan will return. It's possible that guys who have verbally committed here might decide to uncommit.  It's possible that guys who redshirted last year could then decide to transfer. This part of our roster seems pretty solid.
 
That leaves Cross, Arop, and Easley as any of them could decide this isn't the place for them or they could have coaches tell them they should think about playing somewhere else. Zero idea what any of these guys might do but just wanted to lay it all out there.
 
ATM we're at one open spot. If Mack is indeed gone, it's 2. 

We made his official top 10 list. Still undecided between 2020 and 2021 recruit.

Nebraska has reached out to 6'8 G Trey Murphey III (Rice). He is a sit one to play two. Posted really nice stats (leading scorer and  second in minutes) and shooting percentages (43/37/84) across the board.
 
Will be "for sure" giving Creighton and Connecticut a virtual visit.
