Also I don't agree with the article's starting 5. I don't see how Tai starts at point over Glynn. Tai averages more turnovers per game than assists. That's not what you want from your starting PG, especially when you have Glynn who has over a 2:1 assist to turnover ratio.
Very true, my point of that post was that not all players can be effective off the bench or accept the fact that they aren't starting. We know Tai can do both. Not so sure about Gill bc I don't know much about him, so I'm just goin with what I know.
Another sloppy win. Hopefully we sweep this weekend and get some momentum for next week which is a big one!
-rivalry game at Creighton
-Big Ten series with preseason favorite Michigan
I hope Roby is that good where he starts right off the bat. But I just think McVeigh and especially Morrow will be to tough for him to beat out for a starting job. I think he is AW3's backup and understudy this year.
Interesting starting lineup...
I've predicted (with the current roster)
-Glynn Watson
-Anton Gill
-Andrew White
-Jack McVeigh or Ed Morrow, I just can't decide
-Michael Jacobson
Uno will is a scrappy team and would love to pull the upset on their big brother. They put up some tough games the two times they played last year.
Anybody know who is starting today?
Yeah what was up with that? I'm following the game through their twitter page and it didn't specify how we went from bases loaded no outs to the end of the inning and no more runs scored. I assumed we would come out of the inning at least tied.
No.

Yeah I ended looking him up and was listed as a 2 or 3 star. I figured if he was a 4 there would have been a lot more excitement on his page.
For whatever it is worth, Ryan Murphy favorited a tweet of mine to a friend about Nebrasketball. I do not follow him or anything. Saw the notification and his name sounded familiar then I realized I read about him here on the board.
This is more of an under the radar miss just bc gaurd play wasn't a huge problem for us this year. But that's a pretty solid stat line bc the MWC is no slouch in basketball.
Since a lot of Husker fans like to talk about misses in in-state talent here's a good one. TC went to Benson (as did I during the same time) who spent two years at a JUCO and spent his last two seasons at Neveda. He is a 6'3 SG and this year he averaged 13 points 6 rebounds 2 assists and 1 steal per game and shot just over 50% from the field for the season.
His team won the CBI and TC was named Tournament MVP.
The walks rear their ugly head again. Hopefully it turns it out like the Wichita State series where we got all of our bad pitching out the first game and threw it pretty well the last two games.
Yes I saw that as well. I was hoping they would release the marks and times for the full roster. Idk if that's too much to ask for but hey its the off season.
