*6 guys in that class (2018-19) as you are probably forgetting about James Palmer. However, Robin said in his write up that Paul White is a no brainer for a medical hardship so that would put him with Roby, Horne, and Tshimanga if that is true.
If he was quite a bit better, White would not be transferring. White is a good match for the Georgetown offense. I see him less as a PF and more as a poor man's Otto Porter (another Georgetown player). Porter parlayed his role at Georgetown into a lottery pick (granted Porter has struggled in his role at times with Washington and may be replaced by Kelly Oubre). That being said, I will defer to TheKamdyMan's analysis of White's talent.
Yeah, I don't quite see this one either. White is good, but 4 is the one spot where we're loaded. McVeigh, Morrow, Horne and Jacobson already on the roster. Wouldn't he be a junior in 2017-18, along with Morrow, McVeigh and Jacobson? It appears White is still not healed from his hip injury and would have to sit out this year anyway. if he had concerns about his playing time, why does he come to Nebraska where he will will have to compete with Roby, McVeigh, Morrow, and Horne (and possibly Jacobson)? If he was a guard, I could understand him wanting to come to Nebraska.
This class needs a big banger inside and a combo guard for next season. A guy with Whites talents would be more valuable in 2018-2019.
Maybe he's quite a bit better than those guys, when healthy (i have no idea; I've never seen the guy play). And I'm not sure that grouping would qualify as "loaded" from other teams' perspectives. Like "wow, the guys they have at that spot are crazy good, what will we do?" I mean, I like our guys, and we've upgraded the talent, but we have to keep doing that in this league. Every year.
My biggest issue is that we need more depth at G and C than we need anther F. Collecting talent is nice, but bringing a sixth guy to play amongst 2 positions does not make sense. Further that would give us 5 guys in the 2019-2020 senior class.

Are including all post season plays (bowl games, conf championship/tourney, post season tourney)?
If so I say barely over. Football 9 wins and basketball 17 wins
-
I highly doubt our NBA players aren't "used to playing hard and fast" as they play in the hardest and fastest basketball league on the planet. Their woes definitely have more to do with "want to" and respecting their opponents imo.

I thought BJ Day retired from basketball bc if injuries? There is only like 4 conferences in NAIA that play football so there are only like 50 or less teams that play football in NAIA so only one level, but a bunch show up for the basketball season.
Peru State signed 17 basketball players to join the 5 that stayed from last year. They went to the national tournament last year. One of them is BJ Day.
The NAIA is one really interesting group of people. Renegade is a word that comes to mind when talking about NAIA, kind of like some JC's can be.

We missed the cut. He's down to VCU and Clemson.

Is this just your opinion or
Huskers but like i said not guaranteed
Is Aguek the one looking elsewhere? .... or are the Huskers moving on?
Arop that is
Not so sure he will be here next yr
Arop is already on board. Flagg is my first choice after that. I also like Wabissa Bede and then Sims and the Allens. What is your guys's ideal players for us to land for 2017?? For me I would love a class of Arop, Sims, Flagg/Nana Akenten, and Batts.
Or Arop, Sims, Teddy Allen, and Nana

Picked up an offer from TCU.

Now that makes a lot more sense.
Another? Don't believe they've made it past the first weekend. It's hard to accept mediocrity when you have the absolute model of sustained excellence and consistency just down the road, Norm. They're probably poised for yet another deep tourney run and conference title again this year!
Who did you think I was talking about? Creighton????
BWAAAHAHAHAHAH!!!! LOL.

I don't see how Horne redshirts unless Jordy is playing heavy minutes.

Thanks for getting that on here. Not bad hops for 6 footer.

Idk if you can add short videos to the thread but there was a tweet by Courtside Films (RT'd by the Nebraska Basketball account) of Glynn Watson throwing down some nice dunks. He got above the rim on a couple of them. Check out the video if you can or upload/post it on here if you know how/ are able too.

We averaged 72.2 PPG last season. I think we we will see Coach Lewis' impact on offense right away as we are a very balanced team offensively on paper (3pt shooting, post scoring, slashing, mid range, etc.)79 points per game sign me up
My guess is we will be at 74-76 PPG. I know that's not what my totals add up to but Fuller and Taylor's points won't be factored into every game since I don't think they will appear in every single game. Also the players won't average clean #s so the decimals will shave a point or two off.

Idk how talented the other teams will be but this team will have some fairly talented gaurds with CJ Carter, Biggs, and the Wesleyan duo. They definitely need some post players tho.
-
Well Morrow is jacked, Jacobson is jacked, Watson looks cut and lean but I thought McVeigh looked the least improved of the four so it is interesting you say that. However, I very well could be wrong on McVeigh.Would like to see them do one of these for each of the sophomores. I know Jack has beefed up considerably too since last season.

Either way these next two years will make or break Miles. If we're still losing key players early every year and finishing at the bottom of the standings he'll be gone. If we start winning and more importantly dancing (like I suspect we will) then he'll be allowed to stay as long as he pleases.
-
They had some clips from the gaurd workouts posted on snapchat today. Interesting note, McVeigh was working out with the gaurd group. But I guess that makes more sense than him working with the front court.
-
That being said, in a world where everyone wants to play right away and be a star I do think in state players are more likely to redshirt and develop compared to out of state 4 star recruits. Which is important bc next year our rotation will basically be the same aside from Tai's gaurd minutes.
-
I would really like to get him. That is all. Plus his name is badass.
-
I'm far from a talent scout but idk why we would offer him. He's only 6'7 so I don't see him as Jordys back up and I don't think he is good enough to take PT away from Morrow, Horne, or Jacobson who all will have 2-3 years of eligibility left by the time Strom is in college.
-
FWIW I think most people take the ACT in the spring of their junior year typically right around prom season. Atleast that's how I and most others did it and I'm only a few years removed from high school.

From what I read, Miles said ET was on their radar before AW3 announced his decision to transfer.
i haven't written him off, but the only reason he is on the team is because white left. Miles has even said this.
Let's atleast let kid play some games for us before we write him off as a waste of a scholarship.seems to be similar to jeriah horne with his size and skill set.
i know we needed anther guard, but i'd much rather take a teddy allen than let evan taylor be our 3rd string point guard for 2 years.

If Miles and Co. think it's a good idea, so do I.
