The thing is it’s a pretty safe bet they’d put Kansas and/or Iowa State in Omaha. They are trending for 2 and 3 seeds. Now whether they’d elect to put Nebraska in there with them is a different story, essentially removing their home court advantages if they were to play us in round 2.
KU & ISU are the most likely top 4 seeds based on the "bracketing principals" the committee talks about. Especially since Creighton cant go because they are the hosts.

Is Coleman even on the team anymore? Not listed in the availability, but didn’t get in when we cleared the bench in the last minutes?

We can definitely agree to disagree. I saw his game up close all summer long. Very confident in my thoughts but I’ve been wrong more than a few times in my life. It would be his second transfer as he got no time at Chicago so unless he grads early he needs a waiverIf the 2nd transfer rule still exists for next season, which is definitely in doubt.

That foul with 3 seconds let in regulation to give Illinois free throws and a chance to win was fucking unbelievable. I wanted to punch my TV when that was called. There were lots of other terrible calls as others have pointed out but that one changed the game. We won the game if not for that crap foul!
Right. That one sticks out because of timing, but also because the officials were going with the prison rules (no felony, no penalty) all game then call that touch foul.

I dont understand why they didn't go to 16. I get you dont want to add another day, which eliminates 17/18, but why not 16, you'd have 4 games per day W/T/F instead of 3/4/4 for 15.

*-Nebraska went 10-21 from 3-point range, the 12th time NU reached double digits on 3-pointers. NU fell to 9-3 this season when hitting at least 10 3-pointers.
*-Nebraska was held to a season-low 51 points, the first time the Huskers were held under 60 points this season.51 points with 10 3s is hard to do.

No true pg really hurt. That was not a very aggressive press and it gave us fits. Even when we broke it, we didnt get any easy buckets off of it.
Also, those 2 guys off the bench who rained 3 on us to close the gap early were huge. We started pretty good on D and basically were daring them to beat us with somebody other than Young or Reese, and they did. Then our d went in the crapper.

I saw on Twitter there are some questions floating around the legality of how law enforcement obtained the information to begin its investigation - not sure if it's true or not, but, if so, it could at least put the legal charges against all the players in some jeopardy.
I doubt it would affect the NCAA portion of the punishment, since they're separate, but who knows with the NCAA these days. Probably would take several months to sort everything out legally regardless, so it ultimately probably won't mean much for his eligibility at NU.
Yeah, sounds like some possible sketchiness with obtaining the info.
But, didn't Ulis already do a plea agreement? So it wouldn't make much difference now legally for him if its already ajudicated.
