Hello HHC! 
 
I've been a lurker for awhile now and finally decided to make an account. Farm boy from rural Nebraska, now living in Omaha. Growing up my dad took me to a couple of Nebrasketball games every year (Barry Collier era) and loved it. Loved watching players like Alex Maric, Ade Dagunduro, and Brandon Richardson. 
 
I hate Creighton, sorry Jayskers.
I also dabble into some Providence Friars basketball. My great aunt lives in Rhode Island and has sent me some Providence Friars gear. I felt like I had to go when the Friars played Creighton. The two games I went to Providence won by buzzer beaters. Ever since then I feel like I owe it to the Friars to watch. 🙂
 
Also a big Red Sox fan. #GBRSox. 

That's an interesting point about full-contact.  Kentucky is 1-3 now with losses to KU, GA Tech, and Richmond.  Overall, I think it'll be a good test for us.  HUGE week ahead.

Must be rough losing to an in-state Big East team that supports your football program...

I just don’t want to be kicking ourselves if we lose out on the GA Tech or Creighton game too.
 
Thats my biggest fear.

Man— you see more and more of this every day.  It’s unreal.  And people wonder why there is a shortage of referees to do HS athletics.  Is $50-$100 bucks really worth this?

That's the same season the Palmer hits that buzzer beater at home to save the day vs Illinois. They were a bad matchup for us that year.
 
The game at Penn St where we benched Palmer and then clawed back to put it into OT and ended up losing by 2.

It's probably the Michigan governor and her friends&family.

I knew we were in for a long first half when we had two techs in like 5 minutes of game time.  Those two calls screamed “I’m going to control this show” which you can do by calling things like charges.

Maybe family?  Our listed attendance was 25ish on Tuesday.

If we could have had one of the final two possessions go our way against KU, we're in. Either KU misses that 3 or Palmer makes his 2 — not both, just one — and the whole picture changes. Alas, #nebrasketball.

Making our 3s is a big issue for this team right now. We have an offense that is oriented around making 3s and, as a team, we're shooting it abysmally right now. Twenty-eight point nine percent. As a team. From three. That. Sucks.
 
That would have been bad for a Miles team that loved the rim and only kinda liked the three "as friends" after a nasty breakup.
 
But for a team that loves the three, that shooting percentage is loving something that isn't really loving you back.
