    There’ll probably be something now moving forward that states it won’t conflict with either teams football game. Which should be easy because you only have to accommodate one football team for both basketball teams.

    Amazing, amazing turnaround this year. Let’s sustain it because it’s much more fun to be in the dumps after a March Madness loss than a 1st round B1G tourney loss. congrats coach! Well earned!

    This is an interesting one as well and I wouldn’t mind this either. NIT would have been bonkers this year if some teams hadn’t turned it down.

    I saw an interesting idea today for the NIT. Someone mentioned the NIT winner getting an auto-bid to the following years tournament. Negatives I saw were people saying it's completely different teams from year to year... especially with NIL. But this could be one thing that makes a team stick together. If they KNOW they have a spot in the NCAA tournament the following year.

    Having friends who watch other conferences, I can say that MOST fanbases feel referees in their conference suck.

    Such is the Wild West in the Portal/NIL era. When there’s no penalty to transfer, it makes it so much easier. We aren’t the only ones with this problem. It’s just the new reality.

    This type of transfer makes me stop and pause as we think about culture fit. Someone who transferred to a team that was in the Top 25 for the majority of the season, started, and led the team in scoring. What else could he be looking for?

    Greatly enjoyed watching these after the basketball games this year, so I'm thankful baseball is doing them as well. Especially since baseball games are harder to catch on the tube/internet.

    I would say it depends on the player and it's very hard to find those and getting harder. Most of the time, players from that state who likely grew up fans, I'd say yes. Players like DWalker, CJ, etc who get that second chance and succeed, I'd say yes. If this is your first stop and you didn't grow up a fan, now that is where it's getting pretty rare to find a yes.
