We’re getting more and more threads since the eyes are all on Nebrasketball now. So I didn’t see this discussed. But we’re rooting for Maryland tonight right? Top 4 seed….we’re safely in.

We’re in the tournament either way IMO. I am pulling for us to pass then and have one less hurdle for another (albeit secondary) objective which is getting a conference championship and auto bid. This team can win three games….we do not need Wisconsin for quad 1 unless the sky falls IMO. I realize Nebraska was 4th and snubbed before. This isn’t about that. This is about we’re already in so might as well go for a trophy.

Here’s mine: It’s going to be me and my wife. Twin 7 yr olds only if I find a cheap deal (like, Groupon tickets to Indianapolis $40 lol). Like Dave, I am pretty much committed to going no matter what. But I can’t buy tickets to all these places and then have to sell. And, the closer the better, but I’ll sit in the rafters if it means I get to see “it” finally happen. I’ll take any suggestions for this scenario as well.

One thing to push this narrative is NIL. We need whoever runs the ship, the Peed’s?, to give like never before to basketball. Imagine getting a Chucky or a Ware (Ok Ware is going to the nba this season guys) and what we could do. NIL can be as valuable as a pro contract at times. Moreso NFL than NBA but the point still stands.

How easy would it be to watch the 9-11 seeds and see if Nebraska can go from a 10 to a 9 or 9 to an 8 etc? Who cares about the bubble teams, let’s get a higher seed that isn’t a 9 or 8.

Does anyone know what it would take to get us above the last four byes? As nice as it is to see Nebraska on the brackets, I’d love it to be above that last ten in. Could it happen if we lose only at Ohio state?

So Texas A&M loses last night but stays in Last 4 in on lunardi’s daily breakdown. Losses won’t totally kill Nebraska or any team but wins certainly do not hurt. Regardless of his opinion or anyone else’s, a loss here and we’re still ok. But have got to win the two home games and one more somewhere. This team can beat anyone. That’s why from a conference tournament perspective I was saying let’s get a double bye if we can. Then you win two games and you’re in the championship game. I'll trust @cipsucks on this one and go with we win out.

Or…we have 3 games to run a trophy and auto bid instead of 5. Which…would help ensure Nebraska is in the tournament with a nice seed.

Ok so…fun night to watch here. Arkansas up on TAMU. Third loss in a row with two top 20 matchups next. If they lose 5 in a row that bubble is burst. Villanova beat Butler at home. Probably good? Nova was on the outside looking in and butler was below us but in. Syracuse beat NC State on the road. Both have work to do but Syracuse lower so probably good or at least in different. Iowa won in East Lansing. Ok so…check the big ten standings VCU lost by 22 to UMass. You never know? But that was not a bad outcome. BYU losing at home to Baylor. Their three road games are Kansas, Kansas State, and Iowa State…could Nebraska pass them? Heck, what is Maryland upsets Wisconsin? We could be double bye by tomorrow night. Also…all of this is just my dumb opinion and not fact based at all. So you can disagree with me.

K state looks terrible. Kind of what I remember them looking like in the second half of our game.

Am I rooting for K state for sure? We should be rooting for 6, 7, 8 seeds to fall past us, so we have a better seed in the NCAA tournament

Bought one for 37 on seat geek at 8:30. At 9 am my brother in law texted me that he was sick and not going.

I would love nothing more than to win these five games and one in the NCAA tournament (at least). But how likely is it? If Nebraska goes 3-2 or even 2-3…then what? Just saying. I think the magic number including the conference tournament is likely 4 to be safely in, and 3 is sweating bullets.

I’m nervous a bit. There’s a lot of talk about Nebraska can win out on the road or at least 1-2. And here Purdue is losing 50-38 at Ohio State. Take nothing for granted.

I’d normally just take one and call it good. But I’m not sure who will be able to go to the last two games…and one twin has pics with Greisel Walker and Josiah and the other just told me he finally is ready and wants to take a picture with Keisei-he’s been too nervous or shy. Well since this is probably their last chance, I want to fulfill that dream for him. I just wish he’d have done it sooner.

I have two 300 level tickets but have two 7 yr olds who want to go tomorrow. Anybody have an extra? I thought I’d try here as I’ve struck out elsewhere. Beat Penn State!

I think I read somewhere that our +/- with Brice Keisei wilcher Gary Mast is really good? When those guys are on the court together, heck even Hoiberg at times, it really spreads the defense out and allows for good looks. Just my eyeball saying that. I don’t have the metrics.

I came here to post this. How amazing would that be?? Let me dream for a second because it’s on a bracketology. But this would help ensure Nebraska wins since they are “national champs” at home.
