Lincoln voted and paid for it so a big L should be on the structure. And only people from Lincoln should be allowed inside. And our basketball team should only have kids from Lincoln playing on it.We wouldn't want to offend anyone by putting a letter on the building, so let's just use that old symbol that Prince used for awhile since he seems to have dropped it.

It takes a combination of SAT and High School grades in order to qualify to play for the NCAA (and to get into Nebraska).  The lower the grades, the higher the SAT required and vice versa.  Essentially Tai has put together the right set of numbers for Nebraska to believe that Tai is good with the NCAA.
 
However, if the NCAA decided that the school credits didn't apply, I would guess that Tai would have to take some prep class school here (or somehow ace the SAT).  Do I have all of this right so far?
 
While the credits may be the ultimate hurdle with the NCAA, you wouldn't even get there without the SAT.  Hyperbolicly speaking, the SAT has everything to do with anything.

It seems it would have something to do with it.  Otherwise, why the hell did he keep taking the SAT?

If that's the case, uneblinstu, then we almost can't help but be a better team this year.
 
Y'all keep in mind we return three starters (though we lost two of our best players from last year's squad.)
 
Three of the newcomers are transfers who sat out but practiced with the team and so should be somewhat acclimated to Miles' motion system.
 
A couple of the freshmen are, by all reports, pretty darn good.
 
It's true that the bottom end of the B1G is going to be better but we're going to give some teams some challenges this year.

I think he was wondering if Nebraska takes a look at a kid, if he is offered by another Big Ten school.
 
I couldn't tell if the call was legit or not, because when they asked him if his son playerd football or basketball, there was like 2-3 seconds of silence, before he answered "basketball".

He said he said Hawkins will get minutes, just not as many at Webster, Smith and Fuller.  He said that Hawkins best asset is his outside shooting.  Plus, the fact that he is 6'5" doesn't hurt his cause...

The kid has been in Indiana since the second grade.  If he'd been in Broken Bow, you'd think NU would have been in on him long ago.

I saw Ubel congratulating him last night briefly and thought it was some sort of goof.  Then Benny Parker retweeted the above today and that's when I figured out he actually was playing for the Danish team.

Shavon is Danish?  Jeepers.  We have more foreign players than we realized.

Barf at the OWH puts a bit of clarity into things with this short article this afternoon.  We now wait upon the NCAA Clearinghouse...sigh.

I don't think this means anything different than what most of us were thinking.  Obviously, he wasn't literally jumping on a plane right when he recieved the results and heading to Lincoln.  But the SAT score is now what it needs to be, in order for him to be eligible.
 
It seems like a case of the Websters being told what needed to be done in order for him to be cleared, and he has done that, so now he is good to go.  Maybe technically he's not cleared, but from what I have gathered from reliable sources, it's simply a matter of processing the information...however long that takes.
