This is a HUGE pull for us with three years left.

Not sure Alexander is very likely to get drafted at this point.

Except Gary was in a red jersey meaning it wasn’t even from the danceVery strange but kind of cool that they went out if their way for some reason

This day and age you are going to have to make slight tweaks to your offensive system based on who you get. Hoiberg will find a way to get us good shots in any event.

Someone on here was saying that Morgan is easily athletic enough to play some 4 next to Mast.
-
Morgan is a one year player correct?

Does anyone have access to read this article ?
Some cliff notes. Knee is a pretty big issue. Once they figure out what needs to be done there then he can say more. Doesn’t want to say a for sure thing as he explores his options, says he definitely loves this place and this team.

Hurt us in 1st meeting with 15 & 5 in 23 minutes as starter and seemed like all those rebounds were on offensive end. 80+ days later he scores 2 points playing 8 minutes off the bench. Wonder what happened? He shot 60.9% from field, 40.6 from 3 (13-32 so small sample size and shot 73% fts. This worth kicking the tires on?
What happened was we had a game plan for the talented lefty that was working great but rolled his ankle and they went with a smaller lineup that we couldn’t defend well or rebound well against as we couldn’t keep anyone I. Front of us like our undoing down the stretch. He doesn’t roll ankle we win that game.

I will be a fan forever even if he ends up at Creighton. Thanks Mr. Wilcher!

Is this a good hire? Anxious to hear thoughts.

anyone have any intel on Fidler? I really, really want him. I can't believe how much more athletic he seems to have gotten.

I started getting into Husker Hoops the year we lost to Western Kentucky. Money was tight for my folks back then so we didnt have the proper channel to watch it at home or maybe needed satty. Anyway, dad got us a room at Ken's motel in Aurora to go watch that one, That is my first real memory of Husker Hoops.

Either way, I would assume ISU gets a later game in Omaha being further west than the east coast sites. So we’d be the game before them I’d assume. Which could be an early afternoon or late evening. *If in Omaha.
My brain is telling me that typically the one seed gets the earlier of the two game session. Could be a made up thing in my mind though.

Bracket matrix avg is a 9 seed. High of 6 seed and low of 11 seed.
I think so many are not current that it is not useful.

this NU team is pretty simple to figure out in terms of winning and losing games right now. IF they defend for at least 30 of 40 mins and take70-80 percent quality shot attempts, we'll beat anyone at the table regardless of seed. However the reverse is also true. If we *don't* do that, we'll lose to just about anyone minus the 16 seeds.
I like that for the most part, we'll be able to tell if we're winning or losing within the first 10 mins of Rd 1.
Incredible how that is harder to do against great teams.

Omaha with one of the worst performances of handling an alumni tourney zone ever to lose that game, horrible coaching. Still want fidler.

Frankie Fidler was spectacular. If he is looking to upgrade levels I am in.

Looks like a moot point but you change what you do a little bit for guys like him. You don’t turn down physical monsters just because he doesn’t space the court great.
