  1. Well, the Stooges got their marching orders at half.
  2. Yeah, he and Allick have taken Ware out of the game physically and mentally.
  3. Message at half: DON'T FOUL A 3-POINT SHOOTER! Good grief.
  4. Didn't have Hoiberg bodysurfing on the bingo card.
  5. I am now convinced that the only thing that can explain the incompetence of D.J. Carstenson is that he is legally blind. He is so bad.
  6. I thought I remembered someone on HHC mention around mid-season that Potts might be a potential transfer. However, the memory ain't as good as it used to be. It would really hurt to lose her. I've thought all season how much she could improve with an off-season in the weight room and to work further on her play in the paint. I was was afraid she might 'break' during B1G play with how willowy thin she is banging around with the wide-bodies, but she took all the beatings and tacklings and improved in the last month.
  7. The leg spreads and hip checks on high screens really need to be a so-called 'point of emphasis' for the rules committee and the Consortium of Stooges. Not having watched the game, I suspect Sissoko was the main culprit. He's one of the worst I've ever seen.
  8. It's a good thing Michigan's defense was so bad, 'cause they were knocking down some shots in the first half. Has to be somewhat deflating knowing you scored 43 points and were still down by 7 going to the locker room.
  9. Too many unforced errors. You just can't attempt that pass.
  10. If they lose, it's because they let Steulke score multiple fast break layups. That should never happen.
  11. As much as I can't stand her, Clark has made some incredible shots in the face of really good defense.
  12. I am quite dumbfounded that that call went Nebraska's way. Miracles never cease.
  13. Potts gets tackled twice. No call. Clark double dribbles and gets the foul call.
  14. Almost to a women, every Iowa player whines, cries, pleads, pouts, etc. after every whistle or non-whistle perceived to go against then. Stuelke may be the only exception. This is a direct reflection of the Blunder/Clark/Martin culture. Blunder throws multiple tantrums every game. You don't see Nebraska players crying evert time. This is the number 1 reason to hate Iowa. They are the epitome of poor sportsmanship.
  15. Yeah, I was trying to find a nice way to say he's still somewhat of a clod out on the court. Can't fault his effort, but the results of said effort seem to be all over the place: in a heap on the floor, running over someone, etc.
  16. That's pretty good. I had briefly looked at his stats about a month ago, but just looked at points and rebounds, which seemed to be kind of roleplayerish.
  17. I generally don't care for the announcers, but at some point during the game they made the statement that both Nebraska and Maryland would be in the tournament. I think they gave a bit more follow-up 'air time' talking Maryland's case because their run in the B1G tournament solidified what some may have considered their more bubbly resume. Nebraska was probably in no matter what they did in the tournament. Maryland, maybe not so much. At least, that's kind of the vibe I got.
  18. I don't have much hope in beating Iowegia again, but, you never know. Hope the Huskers can keep it interesting.
