Autumn Johnson with ncaa.com and justwomenssports still has Nebraska as one of the last 4 teams in. I still think its a long shot but if you look at like Creme bracketology the last 8 teams in Nebraska has beat a few of them so maybe it will be taken into consideration?

Anyone ever heard if nebraska recruited the Bridgeport sisters? One is going to Colorado and the other to northern Colorado

Thank gosh for opinions and us being peeons out here to make things problematic. And I think many ppl from many teams can say they saw the body language before someone transferred.

Interesting I got one at 11:19 this morning. Have until the 7th to reserve your tickets. They actually gave a list of potential dates Nebraska might be hosting as well. The email I got said we have the potential to host rounds 1-6. With rounds 4,5,6 being played at the Bob Devaney Sports Center.

I didnt say they were. But I can tell ya if they want to be better players and have better abilities that wont be reached in nebraska. So if she is fine with being ok and being around friends she probably dont care but if she wants to make the pros she will be like Leah and Jess and go where you can develop. And that would be how they are similar

This is just from my observation from sitting beside the bench all season and watching ppls language. I said it back when Leah left you can just tell. She literally has the ability to be a jess sheppard but it's just not going to happen staying here IMO

I think it's time to get Muffet Mcgraw out of retirement. She would make women's basketball relevant real quick. I don't see Markowski staying if Amy stays.

We are also at 42 in NET rankings now as well. We are ahead of Illinois and Purdue in that.

Creme has us the 2nd team out as of right now. Illinois and Purdue are in the last 4 byes. We still got a shot if we get put a couple 3 good games behind us.

Because its the only 2 games we have held the turnovers down, played defense and made mid range shots in the same game.

We moved 7 spots in the NET rankings from 50 to 43. That's a pretty good jump after last night

I freaking loved Connie!!! Bring her back now that Jess is gone because I truly believe she is the reason she got fired to begin with. We need a coach that is going to make players get in shape and want to fight on the defensive end. Was truly the worse thing for the women. Would be curious where we would be had she still been here.

Its hard to say anything bad about MM or Markowski or Weidner. I think they got what it takes to make a big impact. I think we just need coaches that can teach in the BIG 10 league. I dont want to see any of them transferring as I think they got it. Maybe Amy will get the same thing as Hoiberg. Switch up your assistants or your gone with them. I really do love Amy but something has got to change. We cant just be a middle of a pack team with the amenities we have to recruit good players. Husker Volleyball pulls a huge crowd and I know the Womens basketball could pull a huge crowd as well.

Don't think you got to preach to the choir on anything. I think a majority of us are on the same page as you. It's time for some better coaches. I have been saying this for a couple years now. We may win a big game here and there but we will never win on a consistent basis. Coach just doesn't coach or play at a big ten level. End of story.

These upper class make me want to barf. Can we please get a coach that can teach these girls to improve. The upperclassmen have literally gone down hill since last year. This just makes me sick to watch them.

If we make the NCAA the lowest seed we would be is a 12 and have to play our way in. Power 5 programs are rarely lower than that as all the non power teams get 13 through 16 usually. And at this point I dont think the older players could care about going out as a winner. Last night it almost looked like Jaz and Sam are both out there just doing the emotions and taking in all the opportunities that come with playing D1 ball. I dont think they are on the train at all. If Jaz, Bourne, Sam, Dillard, Brady all leave and if a couple transfer. We bring in 3 new ppl next year. We are looking at like the possibility of about 6 to 8 people in the transfer portal that will need to be picked up. Thats a lot to come by in 1 year if you ask me.

I am just so confused on the fact we are almost through the season and we look like we are still at preseason conditioning status. I feel like that is what is killing us in the 2nd half of late. I havent looked back at stats but I feel like the starters are starting to get more minutes like they should but I dont think the season has prepared them for it. The Kendalls are just not ready for Power 5 basketball sadly. Then you through Mendelson in there who is not up to speed and all we have left for meaningful subs is Stewart and Hake. That is just not enough to keep up with ppl. Basically playing 7 ppl. Which can be done if conditioned right look at UCONN. They have been doing it and it just caught up to them a couple days ago as well. But I do believe what Geno has been saying is correct. The refs just arent consistent. It went from a normal game in the first half to a shove fest in the 2nd half and it was let go. I seriously feel like the NCAA has told the refs this year that thats how they want the games to be reffed. It goes from Basketball to street basketball between halves. And we dont have 1 girl that would stand up for themselves on the team. Maybe Hake is about it.
