  1. They were playing for Ben Franklin and Matt only made the first introduction. He didn't keep up the realtionship as promised.
  2. He was very good in last Friday's scrimmage. He was second leading scorer behind Quaran. White just barely beat the Red. The teams weren't evenly split either. Red had most people's projected top 8. This is a very deep team. Can't wait for tomorrow night.
  3. I wouldn't be so sure of that. Just because he got a vote of confidence publicly doesn't mean he will be allowed to make that decision. Bounds will be making that decision.
  4. Who is to say Moos will even be allowed to make that decision. It might be taken out of his hands at that time IF he is still here.
  5. I guess I forgot that part. [emoji2] Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
  6. I mentioned this a few weeks ago. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
  7. Mark Boehm is going to "retire" or "resign" soon from what I hear. Nice guy, but he is going to have to shoulder some of the responsibility of this. Sent from my SM-T530NU using Tapatalk
  8. I might have a few cocktails with your name on them. I want you to be agitated and loud tonight. More so than usual. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
  9. I was at the KU game too. It's too bad I didn't run into you. I needed someone to commiserate with. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
  10. I think the difference between him and ed is that isaiah needs the extra muscle not so sure ed did lol.Sent from my LGUS992 using Tapatalk Ed had never lifted a weight before stepping foot on campus. All the muscle he has came after high school. Dude's just a physical freak like that. All my weight came after high school too. I don't think I did it the same that Ed did though.... 12 oz curls? Or 40? Well you should start off with 12 oz curls first before you move up to 16 oz and 24 oz and maybe 40 oz if you're feeling good. #curlsforthegirls This reminds me of one of my favorite movie lines of all time. What are you curling these days.... besides your hair? Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
  11. Yeah, I paint mine on too.Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
  12. My understanding of the situation was that Bruce Sr. was the one to initially bring up the extra year of prep school due to Arop only being in his "junior " development wise due to his injury. The NU staff must have thought this was a good idea and proposed moving his scholarship to 2018. Obviously Arop and his family didn't have the same appreciation for the plan and decided to walk. Now Bruce Sr. is out going to bat for his.player in the media. Which I think he should but it certainly could have been handled better especially if it was his idea originally. The NU staff is handcuffed in this situation and can't really respond publicly. So everyone runs with what they hear from Bruce Sr. and the narrative gets carried away and passed on as absolute truth. I have a feeling the truth lies somewhere closer to the middle. I believe Bruce Sr. Might have mentioned it to the NU staff and they thought it over and proposed it to Arop. Arop is upset and his coach backs him up in public. Backlash ensues. Message boards run wild with speculation and now NU and it's staff are the most hated people in Omaha according to a couple of posters. The end. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
  13. Doc definitely recruited him very hard. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
  14. And no I don't spell Riley with 7 L's because I like him, he doesn't embarrass me and the whole state by being a lazy, arrogant, Nebraska hating asshole. Those are just my reasons. You don't have to agree. I could go on but I made a promise to HB I would let the Pelini stuff go if he would be my friend again.
  15. That was an inside joke between HB and myself. Wasn't in reply to you.
  16. That would have been me. You should have said hello.
  17. So the guy is never visible or out showing support for our teams but when he does he is sitting over their shoulder? The guy can't win. And for every negative story you guys have heard 3rd hand about Eichorst and the AD I've heard at least 5 positive ones. Those who are negative are the loudest are always the most outspoken. When things are going well you hardly hear a peep. Our fans never cease to disappoint me. Well, Haymarket, it's equally disappointing to me that most fans can only approach Eichorst through a Pelini lens. If they didn't like Pelini and wanted him gone, Eichorst can do no wrong. If they were loyal Bo backers to the end, Eichorst can do no right. I have met the man several times and have seen him in action. I know many people in the athletic department and have some insight into the culture there and how things are run, and certain things that have happened. I wish people could understand that there is a lot more to it than whether and how he fired Bo. I have yet to find a Pelini hater acknowledge that Eichorst has ever made a mistake in his life. Now, let's carry this discussion further in a Haymarket drinking establishment. Sounds like a plan. I will however state that I didn't mention Pellllini once and haven't for ove six months. I should be congratulated for that. Pick a place where the tables are bolted down because as you know we are both "passionate" types.

That little Board of Regents meeting from a few weeks ago that Eichorst was invited to was not in regards to his job, most if it was in regards to the pending legal action against the University in regards to women's basketball. It is way bigger than a few thin skinned basketball players.
  19. What if the banquet was to be canceled?
  20. Of course the condescending 3 claps appear to be less rude to them. I disagree. It shouldn't surprise me though. It is very disappointing. I look at it in a more positive light versus being rude. We are showing our team that we are there and we have their backs and do what we can to help them win. I just don't see what the big deal is. Our fans never cease to amaze me. Condescending claps are Nebraska Nice apparently. No one will convince me they aren't condescending either, otherwise we would just clap normal for them if we were doing it for good sportsmanship.
  21. Barr had some serious mental issues. Coach Mathews told me they basically kicked him off the team after the first week because he trying to hurt our players in practice. After he went after Maric in practice one day that was the last straw. I believe the quote that coach gave me was Barr said "There is Going to be Blood!" after he fouled Maric really hard in practice. Evidently he was a little unstable.
  22. I would suggest in the future that you venture a few blocks south and east of the arena. You can walk right in to most paces and sit if you are 1 1/2 hours early. And most of them are much better than what is in the Railyard or across the street from the arena.
  23. Unsolicited Miles said he was most excited about Gill before the season. Considering how well everyone else has been playing so far....... good things are ahead of us.
