Well there is that possibility too. Not sure which one is worse: the one you can't do anything about; or the one you maybe could do something about but haven't.

My reaction (and I suppose the rest of the Big Ten's too) was basically this:

I remember Frost’s first Presser when he crowed to the B1G “you better get us now cuz year 2 will be too late” or something to that affect & how HAPPY I was to hear it…

It seems to me that curse goes all the way back to Dr. Naismith himself. We traded the program's entire future for one game. I could see him having some splash games where he gets hot, for sure. But they'll be few and far between. But hey - we will need him come NCAA tournament time. Great guy for March.

...and then there is this tidbit...the huskers did not win a single NCAA basketball tournament game during her reign. The Queen has died, long live the King.

Or the real curse is that we're not actually cursed...we are just that bad?
