They get let off the hook because they’ve, you know, on the conference and/or conference tournament recently under their current head coaches.3 points -
I think most Nebraska fans would say if they made a concerted effort to play the game (move the game up, play a DH Friday, etc), they would be okay with the game being cancelled. But, not doing any of that is a bad look for Purdue and the Big 102 points

This was a good season for the lady huskers but did not end on a good note. The ladies where unable to get hits in the regionals. On a good note Billie Andrew’s got her 20th home run for the season. Only the third lady Husker to hit 20 in a season. Congrats for a job well done.2 points -
Did you check with Norm Stewart on that? (Props for the obscure Pete Manning reference.)1 point

"The Kool-Aid is already flowing as we hit the summer." Yes, that it is. I'll cheer on the huskers no matter what. but until the football team and basketball team suites up and shows what they have on the field/court playing real teams I'm not drinking any koolaid.1 point -

Of course... this is the obvious answer. However, we didn't... and that didn't change the fact that we still had a chance if they played.1 point -

We got a poorer seed then we deserved. 7 Big 10 teams in the NCAA tournament and only Minnesota had a worse seed in their bracket then we did against 7th seed Okie St. You can say our schedule wasn't tough enough but we were playing our best at the end. This is just typical of no respect NU gets. Look at VB,WBB this year. I supposed they would say it's all about keeping us closer to home.1 point -

Big hit by Matthews saves the day and the season! The best game this season by Matthews. Showed what he could do when locked in. I was watching the broadcast on Nebraska Media, and they were talking about the chance of thunderstorms in Indiana tomorrow. If they made Nebraska and Illinois go 8 hours on Sunday to get the game in, they better do everything to get the Maryland/Purdue game in. Not only did they make Nebraska stay at the ballpark forever, they then made them spend the night, and bus back home on Monday. Knowing the Big 10 from the previous years, they will call the game once the 1st rain drop falls.1 point

Visibly this team was identified as "bad" from the first series of the year...literally the first series. There were some good games and some bright spots, but they simply never had the right mojo. Too bad, so sad. Hopefully the heavy influx of juco players will provide the talent, character and chemistry that will propel us forward next year.1 point -

I will simply blurt this out; we started to play better defense the last two or three weeks (at least in part) due to Trey returning to full health. His tenacity, at a minimum, motivated others to step it up.1 point -
