I think the reality was that he wanted to finish on a team that should be pretty good, we can’t guarantee that at this time. Creighton can so… now I need to go take a bath in bleach for saying that…6 points -

He got the better of it by far in the championship game as well. If it weren’t for him being an Aurora kid and watching him play so much I wouldn’t care. This is a nightmare scenario for me, being a big fan of his and despising Creighton so much.2 points -

A lot of times you can recruit a kid by saying we need your help to get better. Today we just saw what happens when you can't land a guy who would be happy to come here because realistically the FH era has been a trainwreck and there is no guarantee it can or will improve.1 point -

Siggghhhh, It is time that this thread is put to bed. ALTHOUGH, it is important to note that he has NOT YET removed his name from the NBA draft list. In a subversive/stealth move, he may leave Creighton wondering what could have happened if he chooses to jump!1 point -

I had hoped that players who didn’t want to go to class or college could go to the G-League and that players who saw the advantages of a college education enrolled for at least 3 years. NIL has wrecked that. Players can get more money from NIL than from G-League. I know, my hope was somewhat a pipe dream.1 point

And it took 27 more games before they started to look again like the team that throttled Colorado in the first 30 minutes of that earlier exhibition. So, I'll just sit here and be cautiously pessimistic that Hoiberg can pull a rabbit out of the NIL hat. He has not shown a deft touch so far at getting egos and competing financial interests to blend into a cohesive, functioning unit.1 point -
To get totally pedantic here, it wasn't streaming per se that killed Blockbuster. It was Netflix's original business model of mailing unlimited DVD's that you can keep for as long as you want (three at a time) direct to the customer that killed Blockbuster. Streaming services like Apple/Paramount/Peacock/Amazon Prime et. al. are what are killing Netflix - because streaming is a loss leader for companies like that. Netflix can't compete because they have streaming as their only revenue source.1 point
