SWEET !!!! They never gave up...even when the refs were killing their momentum. So many poor foul calls. But just a sweet win over a team that got ANOTHER loss to a scrub bubble team. Take that LB Gets my award for the top game /win of the season.... so far.

I’m not sure many will talk about this…but Weidner going from class D2 to starting in the big ten tournament and absolutely balling and attacking is nothing short of amazing.

Rewatched the ending. Did anyone else catch Leigha Brown's outstretched arms pleading that she was fouled following her face-plant on the floor after the muffed inbound play caught by Markowski??? What a cry-baby! (I think it must be a 'default' reaction to every missed play - didn't make it, obviously must have been fouled.)

Must say, my heart was in my throat at times. Lot's of ebbs and flows. If nothing else it proves we can win against anyone plus we have a resiliant bunch. Hey someone is in foul trouble, someone else steps up. We continue to come out in the third quarter and play spectacular. Someone(s) making some great halftime adjustments and the ladies certainly take to the coaching. As others have said...not bad by a bubble team!

what's with with these long interviews during the game. dumb as hell.

Watched the reply....last 5 min on so on BTN+.....a couple of times. There are very key moments then...where several players did their thing to take home the win. No panic just crucial execution. Watch Markowski get fouled on her shot, by Hillion (sp), but no call. Super quick to grab the inbound pass from LB...saves the game at that point. Sam being Sam. ("Miss clutch" if there ever was one) She was perfect in the 4th qtr. Small town Nebraska girl, Weidner gets her name in NU history as a true freshman...sinking both the winning free throws with seconds left. (those 2 free throws gave Mich no choice but to have to shoot a three.) Could go on about all the players.... but watch it if you can. These girls have such faith and trust in each other.......perfect chemistry. The chemistry coaches dream of......players too : ) Remember this game guys. It doesn't get much better.

How bad was the officiating. AM's over turn review is not actually allowed, however, all contact to the face and head shall be reviewed. BC took an elbow and was gushing blood and not even a morbid interest. Q: if refs fail to protect players what is their job

Great, great victory. Overcoming that 6 point deficit was huge. Also, winning with Bourne and Markowski only scoring 9 points is terrific. Stewart must have lit it up as I only was able to see about the last 12 minutes. All I can say is “BEAT IOWA”

i am dumbfounded about the review of what started as AM having taken a charge ... and then morphed into her being "charged" with a block. I didn't know that that judgment call was subject to review ... perhaps it was a question of whether she was inside or outside the arc. Other than that I am just mystified. I have seen many many calls that could have gone either way and coaches reacting to them - but have never seen one reviewed and reversed

What a gritty hard-fought win. Back and forth and we threw the last punch. Big win!

We have another Nebraska young lady who is dominating on the softball field. She is a graduate of Gretna high school. She has 11 home runs in 16 games thus far and has a .462 batting average. It is extremely encouraging to see our Nebraska athletes doing well in their respective sport. GBR

We're in this game. A bit disappointing because if we hit a few more of those good looks inside we have the lead at half. Let's reset and try to come up with something to keep the ball out of Clark's hands a little more (I realize it's a challenge). Go out and take it ladies! GBR!

What a joy to listen to (thanks Matt and Jeff!) from the road and now watch the replays. This is a really, really fun team that should make any Husker fan proud to watch.

One of the best games I have seen the Lady Huskers play, especially with all the foul trouble. We would not have won if it wasn’t for the excellent play by Annika Stewart. Wonder if the Michigan coach thinks we will be selected for the ncaa tournament

Pregame: I see us in a different place than when we played them earlier. We're definably in a better game flow now. Would hate to see foul shooting be the difference for Iowa. Don't give up 15-20 fouls, and 25+ points at the line. Not sure weariness will be a factor. But a third hard game in three days... is tough. Especially high energy games,

agree............that third game is a pretty big disadvantage. however, who knows. i am sure the huskers will give it their all! GBR! no doubt, it sure helps to have the depth!

And how would you know this? Are you suggesting that this is actual knowledge to some, and nothing was previously done about it?? I find that very hard to believe.

Even if they changed the call because they deemed Alexis inside the circle, as Jeff Griesh noted they should have looked at Hillmon throwing an elbow to her as she attacked the basket. But as noted before, Naz is pretty much treated differently because of her star status.
