Growing up 120 miles west of Omaha, I had never even really heard of Creighton until I was 12 years old. Looking back, those were 12 pretty good years.6 points -

Come on @Norm Peterson, everybody knows that a top-25 5* kid is clearly a fraud if he commits to play hoops at stupid Nebraska. One needs to be a 6-7 Trevor Lakes clone from NWMSU to really get the blood pumping! HUGE ADDITION!!! #LetItFly2 points -

Is Simeon's unofficial visit in June at the same time Isaac Traudt is having his official visit? Are we starting to form relationships?1 point

New rules?

I guess we'll have to agree to disagree. For every buzzer beater, there's 100 games that end pointless fouling and non-stop time outs. I, obviously, agree that it would end the "end of the game" buzzer beater - but completely new times of excitement would be created.1 point -

Prior to Bryce McGowens, I'd have been like, sure, he'll come for a visit. But now, I'm like this could maybe actually happen.1 point -

I was sitting in my living room, alone, watching the end of this game intently (I had become somewhat emotionally invested in UCLA and their cinderella run to the final four this year) and let out a pretty loud shout when Suggs hit that shot. I may have disturbed people. That type of emotion and release would NEVER happen with an Elam ending. It would end the buzzer-beater forever and I, for one, think that is a horrible, HORRIBLE idea. True buzzer beaters (and they are much more frequent than one might think) are the essence of college hoops. Elam endings are the most boring endings one could possibly imagine, and I've seen a fair share of them. It's bad enough that they use them in TBT. Leave them there or let them die please.1 point -

I guess I feel like this is kind of bullshit misleading. I just watched some highlights of a game they had against Sunrise. Sunrise has the #1 PG in the '21 class, and the #11 player overall in Kennedy Chandler. They have the #16 overall player in Kendall Brown. They have the #35 player in Zach Clemence. They have the #47 player in Jaden Akins. They have the #148 kid in Kenny Pohto. They have the #33 player from '22 in Grady Dick. Sunrise Christian was up 21-11 after 1 quarter and about to boatrace Legacy Early until McGowens kind of got on track. You sort of tuck it in there at the end, your comment about the roster disparity -- Sunrise brings Rivals 150 guys in off the bench -- but it matters. A lot. Sunrise has 5 top-50-type players. They can sell out on defense guarding McGowens knowing no one else can really hurt them too much. You can't show those numbers and suggest that it's somehow a reflection that Bryce is just a high-volume, low-efficiency shooter, when it's basically him against those guys. #1 PG Kennedy Chandler vs Bryce McGowens Future Pros put on a SHOW - YouTube1 point -

The only problem I have with the "elect to inbound rather than shoot free throws" rule is that it makes yet another rule that is only applied at specific times of the game. Generally speaking, I want a game officiated the same way throughout rather than applying a rule change at an arbitrary time of the clock. I would prefer a coach to be able to, at any point in the game, elect to inbound rather than shoot FTs. That or keep the rule unchanged. Just none of this "was the foul committed at 2:01 or 2:00?" nonsense.1 point

I would like to see him be able to come back for senior day next year so we can send him off from the team like a true Nebraskan should get.1 point
