who's on the "hot seat" in the big ten? seems to me it is Tsipis from Wisconsin and Fahey from Illinois. i really thought Fahey wouldn't return last season. Versyp has been teetering imo. i noticed Tsipis tried to talk to one of the players during a timeout in the husker game and her body language was like "whatever".

It's almost too late now to find Non-Con games. We done shot ourselves in the foot with a decision that was made WAYYYYY to early for a sport that is one of the most socially distanced AND has one of the largest rosters to players on the field that actually play. There was absolutely NO reason that we couldn't play out of conference. NONE. Kevin Warren needs to decide whether he wants his job or not. Even the conservative Pac 12 is moving forward without us.

I fear having to come back from a covid pause, just to be MSU's "get right" game. Sucks.

Watched his game last night on TV. LCC ran a box and one on him, and held him to 14. You could still see he has outstanding skills on offense. Young kid, so I don't want to be too harsh, but that defense really frustrated him, and he basically just gave up. Stood around well outside of the perimeter, passively.

I could see a team taking a shot on her. Just not that many 6' 5" ladies, with nice touch around the basket, and shot blocking skills. I don't see her as a starting player, but could add some depth to a roster. Up to now, basketball has been a part of her college experience. She's also a student. Based on graduating in 3 years, and now pursuing a Masters Degree, she works hard at her studies. Hard telling what she could achieve, playing basketball, if it was her main focus. Then again, is the WNBA something she'd like to pursue? She might have other plans, and her education should give her the opportunities.

The incompetence is jarring at this point. Also completely fucking over the kids. Illinois can go play Duke in hoops 4 states away, when the virus is raging in December. But Nebraska can't drive 40 minutes to play Creighton in baseball in May, when the virus will surely be much more in control. There is also literally no risk for the B1G to come out looking bad as every major conference and a ton of small conferences are playing full slates.

With the decision to play only conference games, it looks like the Big 10 probably becomes a 1 bid league. No schedule yet is ridiculous. Games need to start by March 5th at the latest. That gives you 12 weekends. Knock off 1 for a bye week (since there are 13 teams), that gives you 33 scheduled games. IMO the fewest games you should schedule. I suppose if you are doing 4 game series, you could possibly start the 19th at the latest. This gives you 36 games. 10 weeks and 9 series. They need to get a schedule! It is not real hard.

This sucks I know it sounds dramatic but after seeing what covid did to that kid from Florida I'm fine if they call it a year. Health is all that matters.
