  1. hes been at the top of my list for a while. All signs point to us. All FCs on rivals and CBs on 247 have us.

  2. Father went to Wake Forest and it was a no-go with Danny Manning there. Enter Steve Forbes. Between that change and having an available schollie that's all she wrote.

  3. I'm down 15 because of diet. My workout effort is Pitchford-esque at best. Also, I feel like Nebraska might list me at 5'11" though I very much believe myself to be 6'

  4. I've held pretty steady around 190, but I feel healthier. We moved cross country right at the start of the pandemic, and living in a city where we don't know anybody plus living next to mountains for outdoor recreation has resulted in me spending a lot more time exercising. However, I've also increased empty calorie consumption while working from home due to COVID.

  5. Hearing about how difficult Nebraska's football is? Being a Nebraska basketball fan, this really gets old. You play in a weak Big Ten west and think you get screwed because you have to play OSU and Penn State. They are in your conference, play them. Every team in the East has to play OSU, Penn State and Michigan(and Michigan State when they were pretty salty) Football is all about having a favorable schedule. Thank goodness basketball makes you earn it.

  6. This one stings more than a bit...one, because of talent; two, because of his high national rating; three, he seemed to be an exceptional teammate and appears to be a young man of character; four, we recruited him hard, thought we had a great shot at him, but alas, we fell short.

  8. Live look at Robin Washut’s recruiting predictions these past few months

  9. According to Robin it sounds like Breidenbach could be a very good possibility and if we get him I'm sure they will save other scholly's for transfers.

  10. I hope this opens the floodgates for some upper-level 2021 guys to commit. Sometimes it just takes that first guy to open the door.

  12. I'm not talking about 247's crystal ball because I don't consider 247 to be real recruiting analysts. They do a nice job compiling data from actual analysts into one space, but they are still a conglomerator of analysis more so than analysts themselves. What tells me that this is a lock is that a bunch of the national recruiting analysts at Rivals all submitted picks for Nebraska, and those guys are very rarely wrong. For them to all be wrong at the same time? I guess that's possible (this is Nebrasketball, after all) but the odds are VERY strongly in our favor. I'm not sweating this one.

  13. I don't know a lot, but I can tell you with certainty that Yvan and Kaleb Wesson are not both 6'9". I feel like Kaleb had him by at least a couple of inches. Which could put Kaleb at 6'10" and Yvan at 6'8". Maybe. But they for sure aren't both 6'9".

  14. I have to say I'm curious how we sign this guy for 2020 without a scholarship. Assuming that isn't an issue it's not like we have a guy at PG for 2021 besides Banton so it's definitely a position of need.

  15. I haven't heard anyone whining except the media guys who are trying to drum up clicks. We were playing OSU and PSU anyway. Getting Ohio State week 1 as opposed to week 6 or 7 is an advantage not a disadvantage. The only things we lost were the free win against Rutgers and a chance to go crazy with offensive stats against Diaco's Defense week 1.

  17. March 2020 — 185 pounds September 2020 — 165 pounds Not going into the office has eliminated donuts from my diet. And since the rec center re-opened in July, swimming 8-10 miles a week doesn't hurt either.

  18. Different situation. You have no choice but to play teams in your division. Cross division is selected by the league without any reasoning. Having to play the undisputed best team in the league every year vs playing Rutgers every year is penal. That was happening anyway and needs to be addressed. The slap to our face was stacking the 3 best teams in the league on our schedule the first 4 weeks. Moos was in the meeting so he knows better than anyone if it was intentional. He is sticking up for us and calling them out which I like. I would be mad if he just took the disrespect and didn’t say anything.

    Anybody else tired of...

But I Did like Moos' ending quotes: “I don’t want to come across as the champion complainer,” Moos said. “I’m going to protect my school and what is fair. I was outspoken on those items. At the end of the day, I was 0 for 3. I wasn’t just going to sit around and listen and get kicked around. I’ll never do that. They knew I wasn’t pleased.

To be the best, you have to beat the best. I appreciate the schedule makers giving us the opportunity to be one of the best. For those fans upset with the schedule, stop your whining!!!

  21. aware of that, but, just thought i would throw that comment out there about Brown in case fans might be looking for a mention on Brown's transfer to Michigan.

  22. Not at all, it is unfair. One team plays OSU and PSU and another plays Indiana and Rutgers. If it was just a fluke once in a while that’s different but when play OSU every year and other rarely do it’s wrong. With that being said I’m not mad. Let’s buckle up and prove it on the field. Can’t get back on top without beating those already there.
