Royal Crown and Crown Royal continue to miss out on a great opportunity for a joint marketing strategy.

Glad we're getting the Maryland and Iowa road games early in January while their students are still at home on Christmas vacation getting their clothes washed by the their moms.

Dick Vitale jumped the shark 20 years ago. Now he's unwatchable. All he has done on broadcasts so far this year as far as I can tell is plug his latest book. Also, as far as I can tell it's been many years since he's done a game from anywhere other than the Dean Smith Center, Cameron Indoor, Rupp Arena or Phog Allen field house. Which, IMO, is too bad for the fans of UNC, Duke, UK and Kansas because they have to suffer through his inane crap for nearly every home game, but good for the rest of us because we get real, professional broadcasters doing our games. Except for those poor bastards in Pac 12 country that have to suffer through listening to Bill Walton ramble on about whatever it is he rambles on about.

Yeah, I hear from some ppl that the Devaney Center wasn't that great.... I loved that place. No matter where you sat, it was a good view of the action. Now if one wants to discuss the surrounding area, that's a completely different story. Inside, though, it was a great venue when the place was rockin'!

Its Coke, Mt Dew, Dr Pepper, Water, a good chunk of the sodas over at Rocket Fizz, dying of thirst, and lastly Pepsi (and tied with Pepsi any variations of Pepsi) for me.

Basketball needs an announcer like Johnnie Miller was for golf: knowledgeable; to-the-point; and occasionally a little too candid. Miller: "Fat guys are clutch." Lampley: "Whoa, wait, how can you say that?" Miller: "Have you ever seen a fat guy miss a short putt?"

I was thinking about this. Be interested to see B1G road records in first two games of conference play after January for the last 5 years. At any rate that’ll be two Quad 1 games with students away. Great opportunity for us!

I would love it if they would have a souvenir cup that was good for the whole season. It’s sorta awkward wearing a big coat into games when it’s 50 outside and having to wait for the first media timeout to get a “refill”

This is shaping up to what could be a most interesting Game; One I think we can win despite the comparative record and statistics. If we are 'ON' we can put up a lot of points real fast; then I think it could be just a matter of maintaining focus and hanging-on for the Win. Experience matters, and we are gaining it every day. In an oddity, this is one game where the Ladies will be on BTN (the first of Eight BTN appearances for the Ladies this season); And the Men are on BTN Plus. Yeah, you're definitely right about that! For a dude who got his start at a small school, he has certainly forgotten the so-called underdogs of college hoops with his own work.

I get the vibe that Dick Vitale really only cares about the blueblood historical schools like those in the ACC and former Big East. It's likely the only way we'll get him at the PBA is via the Big Ten/ACC Challenge if we were a Top 15 team and we were matched up with UNC.

michigan and huskers aren't too far apart in most stats except for defensive rebounds and 3pt% defense. gonna need at least a decent night shooting because odds are they might not get too many second chances. haiby getting to the basket could be key---whether she finishes or is able to dish off (for the open look).

This site is projecting us as 2 seed in the NCAA tournament. That is the highest I've seen us projected. The Bracketmatrix which compiles lots of rating sites has us as a 5 seed.
