And let’s not look ahead to much either, keep in mind after what I’ve seen from Illinois and Minnesota this week we should handle them if we play our game. Don’t get me wrong, I want to beat Creighton as much as anyone, but starting 2-0 in conference play is just as important in my book.

Gonzaga is a really good team....but giving up 62 points in a half? That’s crazy. Not much defense being played. Creighton is going to give us a lot of open looks like usual next Saturday. If we hit them we win.

Gonzaga looked 1/2 interested for some of it. I kept thinking, honestly, we are more athletic than Gonzaga in some ways. CU has very little post up game, our length should bother their three point shooting, and PBA needs to come strong and we will be fine.

I always admired Knight’s Indiana teams and his coaching acumen. His instructional videos on motion offense and man to man defense are not exceeded. He did not cheat in the recruiting game, often winning with less talent. However, his boorish behavior has tarnished his reputation despite the fact many former players admire him.

Agreed. I didn't feel like I was watching a team that just beat Duke or one that is #1 in the nation.

Not if we beat Okie state, if we would have 3 quality wins against big conference opponents and go 1-1 with the Big East and 1-1 with the Big 12 we would have more then enough quality non-con wins already to focus on conference play. That’s not counting Cal State Fullerton who won their conference and went to the dance last year. However, not beating Illinois and Minnesota before we go to a ranked Maryland and a ranked Iowa team sets us up to start 2-2, 1-3 or 0-4. That’s a far worse hole to dig out of them just a lose to Creighton. IMO

They could if they wanted to....but it would require changing a lot of schemes. Cain is being keyed on defensively by other teams. She must be very mobile to offset the sagging defenses.....hasn't adjusted yet I guess. Haiby start ? yep......and/or play a lot of minutes for sure. We still need a defensive stopper or two to surface, like a we had last year...where a players sole purpose was defense. Our team defense still is worry some. Worn out the word turnovers.... ? Like was said previously...the Louisville game was somewhat encouraging. Hope it leads to a complete game by the Huskers when we play the whinny Blue birds.

Next year, JD Spielman will be 1st team, A Mart will be 2nd team and Mo Washington will be 3rd team. Brendan Jaimes and Bo Wilson might reach 2nd or 3rd team. Very encouraging that two of our younger OLs were recognized as being two of the better OLs in the conference. We still need some difference makers on the defensive side.

Definitely. If we just shoot our wide open catch n shoot shots our offense becomes borderline good especially if Allen and roby start shooting them regularly
