  1. Semicolon is used perfectly. Can we talk about comma usage? That second clause is complex, and it begins with a subordinate clause. You need a comma after "Finals."

I was actually debating whether to put a comma there. I guess I lost the debate. ?

NIce work, sir! The most fun way to identify the passive voice? Place "by zombies" after the verb. "(The) semicolon is used perfectly by zombies."

  5. You wrote the bolded statement above using passive voice; you should consider revising. I would suggest something like: "Man, you used that semicolon like a boss; if you can use your colon that proficiently, you're doing great!"

I would have used a comma and a 'so' after it in lieu of the period. But that is neither here nor there.

  10. There is both a physical and mental component to turnovers. There is also the situation where a great hit directly on the ball occurs, and little can be done about it. Both Mo and Martinez carry the ball outside of their bodies. It is glaring with Mo. He will learn that is an unacceptable way to carry the ball. Both will continue to build physically and mentally and will be better protectors of the ball in the near future. Remember, Ameer was a fumbler early in his career and he was vastly improved later in his colligent life.

    Some Changes

That would mark the entire "Haymarket Hardwood" forum as read, not just the "Husker Hoops Recruiting" subforum, which would be unfortunate. Because then I'd miss out on all the great new conversations in Haymarket Hardwood when I get too inundated with recruitment talk.

I live just a few blocks away from Sprint Center; if we make the KC Regional Finals I may end up needing a liver transplant... (judges, can I get a ruling on my semicolon usage?)

Why do they think finishing 3rd would be enough for us to get into the NCAA tournament.

  16. I was growing up in Grand Island around age 12-18 from when Wes was a junior/senior in high school through his years for Nebraska. As a little 5’7” twerp I quit playing organized basketball in high school but will always remember going to camps he was a student coach at in middle school and just being amazed at his height. Pry one of my favorite husker basketball players ever just because of that.
