We should recruit as many kids like Thomas Allen as possible. Total 100% class all the way! This young man is the perfect example of "leader", so glad he's on my team.5 points

If the standings were this way, Michigan State, Michigan, and Indiana would get selected into the tournament.2 points -

It astonishes me that Jordy has chosen to not be a part of what is shaping up to be an historic season for Nebraska basketball. In 2029, they’re going to be walked out into center court at PBA to celebrate whatever huge things they accomplish this coming season and someone’s jersey will be retired and these guys will get an extended standing ovation and someone is going to ask the name of that one center who quit the team just before the season. And whoever they’re sitting with will say “give me a minute, it’ll come to me. But, damn, Roby was such a great kid, not just a great player.” And the other guy will say “That whole team was full of good players who were also good kids.” And they’ll continue cheering and applauding the 2019 team and that’ll be the last time anyone will mention the kid who quit.2 points -
I am thinking Jordy is as delusional as Ed was about being a wing if he is leaving because he feels he should be a starter. He should know he is still raw as heck on the offensive side unless his “advisors” are filling his head with other ideas.2 points

I see the coaches recently (according to NU womens BBall)...have been recruiting in.... Kansas, Colorado, Minn, Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Georgia, Florida (Duckett ?), and ...Aussie land. So where will the next recruit come from? Saw where Coach Amy recently said there's a couple more recruits coming that may put them in a top 20 recruiting class again. So some silent commits ?? She must be pretty confident to say that kind of stuff. Also that 2019 Helms got a 4 star rating on one of the recruiting sites. Haven't seen a rating on Bourne2 points

I know this wasnt a successful dunk, but oh so close: Walt P's almost dunk against Ohio State in the BTT quarterfinals. I think we were up like 18 at the time. If he would have jammed it home im calling game over. That failed reverse dunk was a big turning point imo. *Im fairly young, so i dont remember too many seasons of Husker Hopps before Miles arrived*1 point

I could live with this outcome. It would be hard for the NCAA to only take the top two teams in the league?1 point -

True dat; but we are sort of are in that you "reap what you sow" paradigm. We have had players leave, at least in part, due to advice of handlers, parents or friends; but we have also been on the receiving end of that revolving gift by receiving players such as Petteway, Palmer, Copeland, Burke, ecetera. The other advice is provided as well, and we may be the beneficiary of that "work harder" advice; if the stories I have heard about Glynn and Isaiah are true. I guess it is the nature of our current society, like it or not.1 point -

Jordy will have to redshirt unless he drops down a level, so the notion that 'rotation spot' is a priority or, further, a team giving him "starter's minutes" is a non sequitur.1 point -

It's a problem that, after being here two years, he's still that raw. I don't disagree that he is, but I'm diapppinted he is. But I don't intend on missing him.1 point -
We need to start recruiting bigs that are good shooters or quick jumpers. Stretch guys or Capella type guys. Miles don'y coach the plotting big men well so play to our strengths.1 point

Good analysis redsteve. She is usually cautious in giving out that kind of info so she must have something up her sleeve. I like it.1 point

If Roby, with everything he now can do, also had Carl Hayes' abilities to score from 17 feet and in, he would be a lottery pick and be destined to appear in several NBA All-Star games. Similarly if Copeland was as good at rebounding, interior defense, and scoring in the post as Tony Farmer, he'd be a first round pick.1 point
