  1. Alright I've had enough of this^^^ Just because you think the program is in a bad place doesn't mean it is in a bad place. You suggesting that everyone has to have the same outlook of the program is getting annoying as hell. Go follow Haray Carry and Tuco on HuskerOnline. They might think more of your constant belittling of this program and coaching staff What exactly has gone down the crapper in the last month and half? Some imaginary shit storm hit your brain? We lost an assistant that had nothing but praise to say about our program. The kid that he recruited left for another program, and we still landed the other one he recruited. We got screwed by the NCAA selection committee, yet somehow it is Miles fault to a good amount of you. We have lost Jack McVeigh on the roster so far. None of that is as bad as people like you make it out to be. Until we lose Copeland, Roby, Watson or Palmer Jr. to something other than the pros... We will be fine! The constant lack of support and drive to express how shitty Miles is, is the only thing I am aware that hasn't been "Peachy" over the last Month and 1/2. Nothing inside the program has shown me it isn't "Peachy" Didn't your mother ever tell you "If you don't have something nice to say, say nothing at all" It would be "peachy" if some of you would follow those words of wisdom, because frankly people with your attitude are IMO one of the biggest problems surrounding the program.

  2. Just in case you forgot, the CURRENT state of our program is a 22 win season and a fourth-place finish in the Big Ten Conference.

  3. Why not? It was great season — historically great! It’s reminiscent of National Coach of the Year developments from a few years ago. And the last month and a half appear to be culminating in a great hire. Downers can be down, if that’s what they choose: but why insist on dragging everyone else along?

  4. Sounds like he knows a thing or two about shooting. If we can develop shooters better it would be epic.

  15. I don’t have fanhood for either Nebraska or Florida, so I doubt I’ll be around much. Just popped in bc of the news. On a side note, and it may be a less than popular sentiment- but I’m a fan of your coach. Good dude.

  17. If he was largely responsible for the defense, I am on board with that as NW generally had sound rotations it seemed.

  18. Not to burst any bubbles but it reads that Gates focused on defense, and that this James character draws up the out of bounds and specialty plays.

  19. This was covered on here not long ago. Someone in the know pointed out that Kenya was coaching bigs up to a few years ago and then Molinari took over coaching the bigs and Kenya was coaching wings.

  20. It doesn’t matter what you and I think as we are both fans of the huskers and Tim miles. It matters what the perception of the program is outside of the program. I am a a huge supporter of Miles, I think we lose maybe one more guy from the roster( in Copeland ) and I think he’s done a good job w the current recruiting class. If we get Gates it kinda changes that perception in my mind. Could be totally wrong but that how I see it.

  28. Yeah, I think it was the fact that it was kind of let out that Miles didn't have a relationship with Xavier. I got the vibe that "recruiting was going to go downhill" without Kenya. I think that was mostly stemming from the fact that Xavier left and then it was made out that Miles didn't have a great relationship with him or something to that effect.

  31. People did hint around at that when Kenya left. I don't think anyone came right out and said it, but that was the vibe some put off when we lost Hunter and then Xavier.

  32. I don't think there is any notion that Miles can't recruit. Only knock against him for awhile was he couldn't recruit a big man. This would be a nice bonus if we can land this kid.

  38. Maybe he couldn't pass up the chance to be an answer to a trivia question: who was an assistant for both of the last two major conference teams that hadn't won a tournament game when they finally did win one?

Well that would certainly align with Christ's teachings of the beatitudes. Blessed are the poor in spirit...the first shall be last and the last first...sounds like a description of Nebrasketball fans for sure.
