I wouldn't say I lost her; I only pretended to like her so that she'd let me borrow her Big Bird eraser. Oh, you mean THAT Sallie. Petteway leading us to the dance took all the rest of the sting out of losing THAT Sallie. I'm so over her.

The article gives me mixed feelings --- it is great that there is a guy that can make wide open threes against a zone defense, but somewhat depressing that Benny Parker and others find the making of wide open threes surprising.

I understand Kansas but what do the others have we don't? We have instant playing time for a big that is serviceable. I understand KU, Arizona, and Indiana because they are kind of basketball names if you will. I also understand SMU and Texas Tech and Texas as they are all in state. Its the Purdue, Bama, Miss St., and Cals that I don't understand. I am sure he has a good reason for all of them... even if he is wrong.

Perhaps he could play at one of Nebraska's fine NAIA institutions so Husker fans can watch him play Nebrasketball in an exhibition this fall.

I'm sure we will have some clunky games/moments due to our youth. What I hope to see is improvement as the season progresses. These kids will be pretty darn good with some experience, it's just a matter of how fast they will get there. I think in the end we will look back and say the recruiting class with Cady, Sample, Jeffry and Laudermill was very special, but this group of kids was even better. This team will definitely have a different look to them compared to last year's team. Much needed depth and experience for all since they are young. I do feel the minutes piled up on several of our players last year, and they also could not afford any foul trouble.

I don't think we will miss her that much this year, or next. I think the two 2016 commits are going to be really good, and for this year Kendall Clark will be an important asset. I also look for Cincore to have a break out year. The main thing is to stay healthy.
