Wasn't he healthy at the end of the year and that is when he played hi best. He blocked a few shots with help d and had some very good rebounds and was good around the rim.
This year will be better if he stays heathy, as will everybody.
Chicago is a good place to get a recruiting foothold. They always seem to have an abundance of talent and, for whatever reason, Illini have never seemed to be able to close down the borders of the state, let alone the city of Chicago. Good to keep that ball rolling.
This looks like a good article that speaks to our recent success in recruiting the Chicago area. I thought I would share it.

Gotta love this comment from "Ralphie" added at the end of the article:
"Jim Molinarii is a legend in Illinois going back to the 80s during DePauls glory days. No wonder Nebraska is getting these Illinois kids."
Great article. The take on the early recruitment and offer of Roby was interesting. Perhaps that explains the (too) early offer to Arop. It doesn't always work out, but at NU you have to take some chances. Easy to be critical from the sidelines.
Yeah, it's like Chicago media acknowledging that Husker hoops is finally about to make the leap as a program from "pathetic" to "competent".
Which is reason enough IMO to be pumped up!
