I really missed this earlier. His dad is Anthony Stewart, current coach at UT-Martin after taking over for Heath Schroyer who left for NC State. Stewart was the associate HC for UT-Martin when we beat them two years ago in Lincoln Stewart was also an assistant in Wyoming under Schroyer for 4 years where his son Parker was a ball boy...which is why Wyoming is the odd looking team in his list of schools. Both Parkers would have known Tim Miles from that time period as the coach of MWC conference rival Colorado St. I know Bailey might be ranked a little higher but Stewart gets bonus points from me for being the kind of coach's kid who is looking to be his own man.

I am guilty of some of that for sure. Schematically, I remain disappointed in what he has brought to the table, but great to see he is a much better recruiter than I thought he would be. I didn't know he had that in him. I still think he has it in him to coach the defense better than he has so far. I think this year, the Jimmys n Joes are goin to match up with the X and Os he and Miles have in mind As much as I loved Shields, and losing a scorer like White... I think this "team" is going to step it up and prove to be overall better. I think this year is going to be a big change of pace and we are going to see a lot more team oriented ball.

Bball season is finally here. I hope the women have a fun year and adapt well to the transition. I also hope the fans are supportive during this transition. Going to be some ups and downs but important to keep moving forward and support the kids and coaches.

Thoughts? I'd like to nominate Watson as the lead couch fister.

The whole squad. I know everybody wins the offseason and everybody is gonna make the dance this time of year but I'm really starting to like the look of this team. They look the part. Physically, i would say this is the most "Big Ten" looking team we have had since joining the league. Also I love the vibe I'm getting from the team. Seems like they really like each other and are all friends. Team chemistry can go a long way. Throw in a great offensive mind (Coach Lewis) w/ some much needed muscle in Morrow and Jacobson and a big bodied C for Coach MO to work with. I'm entirely too excited for this season.

I wonder which one or if both are on the commitment watch. Since theres no rule on over signing would we possible take both guards and accept the big guys commitment too if he chose to be +2 at the moment? That would really be +1 assuming they know something about Fuller and then someone else would have to transfer. i don't think we'd over sign by 2 when fuller is the only player that is likely to transfer. ideally we'd get 1 of the guards and 1 big man, but i think you have to take both guards if they both want to commit. and then worry about a big guy down the road.

Molinari is great for Nebrasketball. Period.

Used them a lot last year, so saw most every game one way or another. We're still a couple of months away from season games....

I have went to a couple of games per year in the past and really enjoyed them. Can't beat $3 for seniors in general admission. Took the big step and bought a couple of season tickets for the first time. Won't be able to go to all the home games but felt this was a good way to support the program. Plus you can still get pretty good reserved seats. I travel a lot so BTN TO GO & BTN PLUS are a great way to follow them as well. GBR
