  1. I hope that you can take my opinion as unbiased, as I have been a fan of Coach McDermott's for quite some time (pre CU days), and I've been to a lot of CU's practices in the past couple years.... But I think Zay has a much higher ceiling than Harrell. RH is a very nice player, but he's a great role player that is a second or third option guy. Zay has the potential to be "the guy" for a team. Again, just my opinion - not trying to knock Ronnie AT ALL. Just think Zay is a hidden treasure that could be a team's number one option. But I certainly understand your comparison.

  2. Nebraska sure knows how to create special moments in Memorial Stadium. I know we all saw it, but it never gets old to watch. I never knew Foltz, but his legacy has touched many people.

  4. Way before he caught lightning in a bottle for a 6 week period. Oh well...another losing season coming up.I love how people downplay the NCAA tournament appearance with the "lightning in a bottle" argument and act as though it didn't count or was a bad thing. Of course it was lightning in a bottle, it resulted in a tourney appearance we won recruiting battles as a result.I've said this before but this needed to be a slow build for Miles. He got lucky with some transfers right away but then the same transfers bit him in the ass the next year. 14-15 was a complete disaster but anybody with eyes could see progression and promise with the freshman class during the 15-16 season. Now here we are heading into 16-17 with Miles' first legit recruiting class (done plugging holes) heading into their sophomore year. He's added more pieces in Roby, Horne, Gill, and Tshimanga (the first legit big man) and now there's plenty of people calling for Miles' head? I very much doubt that this year will be another losing season.
