Yeah, funny story about that. I bumped into him walking across city campus the other day and he asked me if I knew where the Hendricks Training Complex was at. I said, "Young man, this is a prestigious university; we do NOT end our sentences with prepositions." Anyway, long story short, I helped give him directions.

I was driving downtown at around 10:00, wanted to try out the new Hurtz Donut, but the line was too the street. I was then driving toward campus when I saw a group of tall young men waiting to cross the street. I couldn't see who they all were but Jordy was easy to spot. Big kid, didn't look fat. I yelled "Jordy why aren't you in the weight room?" I think they heard me because they looked at him and started to laugh.

And Andrew White didn't just watch it in May. He saw it all last year. Don't tell me he wasn't thinking about Gill being a scorer who will command touches when he decided to pull the trigger on the transfer. If anything he didn't think highly enough of Gill as the most floated rumor of him transferring was to play on a better team. I don't care what he told anyone publicly or semi-publicly. Or even privately. The way things went down and what his agenda ended up being, you will never convince me that he wasn't looking over his shoulder at Gill and thinking, damn, I'm not getting NBA scouts to look at me if I'm the 2nd best player for Nebraska. I'm sorry, I just don't buy it if anyone tries to say lack of touches didn't factor into the equation.

Miles was already looking for junior college guards and he was looking at ET when the Huskers had one available scholarship for the 2016-17 season. When White announced he was leaving the Huskers they pulled the trigger.
