Unless you watch a Louisville game on TV this year. Even then ... Louiville has a one-and-done type small forward named VJ King coming in this year. 6'7" and, well, he can already do the things the NBA told Andrew White he needed to try to develop.

I hope Zay has more realistic perspective on his likely contributions his freshman season than most of us fans do. I think half of us have him either All-American or Hall of Fame at the end of his first season. I'm more tempered in my expectations and realize those things won't come until probably season #2. I honestly feel like it'll go along the lines of his high school career there in lincoln Theres alot of the same storylines goin on. They had some good players come in the year before him, It was considered a football school mostly, program hadn't won in over 20 yrs empty stands lol it was bad (Ik its not empty there) but with alot of under classmen i think they started 3 sophmores and 2 freshmen they did ok just had some learning to do. His freshman yr of highschool was bad as a team they lost alot. They showed flashes though just had alot of bad breaks and people quit the team that were kinda good and actually 1 did transfer sooo crazy the similarities now that i look back at it. Sophomore yr big imrovement won a regional and well that summer he got offered Since then he (along with teammates of course) have gone on to win conference hopefully it happens right away but im thinking we're a yr away. Nick Fuller is a warm body...If we are going after someone, they need to be able to win playing time over what we already have. At this late date, I am unsure if that person exists.

Just start using the college baseball model. You think you're good enough to play basketball professionally out of high school, go for it. Allow them to enter the draft. However, if you decide you aren't ready or want to go to college, you have to wait 3 years before you can go pro.

In a lot of ways Pat Summit was the person who brought women's basketball, onto the American sports scene. Unreal accomplishments in her career. Some of all time best stats.... for any sport.

I guess I feel bad for our players more than anything else. This drama has been bubbling up for the past two months and had to be a big distraction during off season training for Tai and every other team member. AWIII - if he wanted to be - could have been a consummate leader for this group of teammates he spent two years with. Obviously, he has other priorities, and I respect his right to choose his own path.

I didn't like the tone of the articles when he was withdrawing from the draft. He sounded selfish in his quotes, making it sound like the offense needed to be run through him to improve his draft stock. This might have lead to conversations that Miles didn't like. Unless there is a family issue, this looks like a TOTAL dick move.
