  1. He's nowhere NEAR good enough to make their roster. He couldn't even sniff the floor at KU...

  2. I haven't lost hope for next season like some have. Two things remain the same: we will still have one of the best trios of gaurds in the Big Ten and we will have the most talented front court in the Miles era. With White we lose 3pt shooting and rebounding but McVeigh will be better and I think we will all find ourselves being extremely satisfied with what Isaiah Roby is bringing to the table. I'm ready for the season to start all ready!!!

Here's one to think about: Every Pat Summitt-coached player who completed her eligibility at Tennessee graduated. Every player. In 38 years.

  4. He was very rarely...if ever a non-factor. He scored double digits in 17 of our 21 Big Ten games...and even when he was "off" the defense had to be aware of him so he stretched the defense out. Not to mention, his ability to rebound. Until proven otherwise we don't really have that guy on the current roster IMO.

I hope Zay has more realistic perspective on his likely contributions his freshman season than most of us fans do. I think half of us have him either All-American or Hall of Fame at the end of his first season. I'm more tempered in my expectations and realize those things won't come until probably season #2.

  7. If he goes to Creighton, I swear I will hunt him down and kick him in the balls.1 1 Don't be a douche bag and pretend to take this statement literally and claim that I'm making a terroristic threat or some other such bullshit. It's called hyperbole. It's called blowing off steam. It's called talking tough. And anyone who thinks I really mean it and therefore that I'm committing some crime by saying it, well, you're an asshole. Your mother never told you that, so it's high time you heard it from someone and that someone might as well be me. If you try to contend or pretend that I meant an actual threat, you're an asshole. Period.

  8. That would take the cake....guy supposedly doesn't like getting yelled at by a somewhat hyper and animated coach.....So, let's transfer to Indiana. Uh huh, makes sense.

  12. In theory, the age or year of our players shouldn't be the determining factor if we are good enough. Historically we recruited lower level players and they needed experience and maturity to compete. But we now are recruiting higher level players, and in turn, should expect quicker results. Even with the loss of White, we should be an improved team. Our younger talent simply have to take over, and leverage their talent. I know that is easier said then done. But the expectations should not be lowered just because one individual left. Besides, if the stories about White's attitude towards "the team" are true, then perhaps we may even be better without him. His ego no longer has to be stroked. We no longer "have to" run our offense through him. So after a few days of stewing, I am finding that I still have a positive outlook on this upcoming season. Good things are going to happen.

  13. I am just throwing darts but this kids dad was an assistant coach for the Huskers from 2006-2010. Sounds like he is going to Gonzaga, but not a done deal. His numbers are good. Would be a nice replacement for AWIII at this late stage. He announced he was transferring on 5/30 so maybe they have time to get him interested in a visit. http://www.calbears.com/ViewArticle.dbml?ATCLID=208927261

  15. Apparently he wants to go where he can handle the ball more often. Does Wesleyan have an open scholly? Dude's just not someone who needs the ball in his hands other than immediately before hoisting it.

  16. Maybe that could be Kezo Brown
