Hey everyone, A quick update on my son Seth and what we have going on July 4th weekend. Seth is on the list to have a bone marrow transplant in Rochester. They hope to get the ball rolling sometime late summer, but there are complications which I won't get into here. It's not a donor thing, his case is so unique, they don't know right now just WTF to do. It'll be alright. God has the final diagnosis. On Saturday, July 2nd, we're having a benefit to help off-set the cost of his medical bills and to help him when he has to be in Rochester for 4 months after the transplant. He has really good insurance, but the co-pays have added up. We have a 2 person scramble at Fox Hollow Golf Course in Sutton starting at 9 a.m. Afterwards, we have free food and a silent auction at Conlee's with all proceeds going to Seth. If anyone is interested in golfing, or, if you would like to donate an item for the auction, please pm me. I have been on the receiving end of solicitations and they can be really irritating. I hope no one takes offense. I consider all of you family. (not necessarily a good thing, some of my family, I dislike ) Thanks for putting up with me!

I saw Jerian and Isaiah the other day (on my lunch walk)going in to South Stadium, I was surprised how much taller Isaiah was compared to Jeriah. Both look to be in great shape and ready to play!

I ain't gots it rite yet and i teach it! I hate to be the grammar cop, but you forgot the "done." Like "i done teach it!" Sea I rest my Casey. I could have also accepted "I teaches it." "I teaches it" or "I done teach it." Either way is acceptable according to the Strunk and White, "Elements of Style: Missouri and Arkansas Edition."

Well it looks as if Arizona State beat the Huskers to the punch. Zeroes became the graduate assistant for the Sun Devils yesterday. The Sun Devils got a steal with this one!! Love Miss Lindsey and what the future has in store for her!! Good Luck Lindsey!! Maybe just maybe, we'll see her on the sidelines at PBR someday!!

In all seriousness, these are really good numbers for Tai. Not that I think he'll just come back and be all gangbusters every night in the B1G, but drill down a bit in the numbers and you'll see a really, really complete player there. He lead his team in scoring, assists, and steals. He was 2nd in rebounding. He accounted for 1/3 of his teams assists (3 of 9) and 1/3 of the steals (4 of the team's 12). He had 1 turnover; the rest of the team contributed a combined 22 turnovers. The three-point line is deeper and he was 2/2. That's not jacking up a ton of treys but he's obviously confident with the ones he does take. I have a feeling our guard corps could be pretty special this coming season.

If he can extrapolate that stat line into a season that would mean he would average 16 point a game, shooting 75% overall while shooting 100% from the free throw line as well as 100% from behind the three point line, with a 3 to 1 assist to turnover ratio. I think we could live with that.
