  1. He just needs to make sure Nebraska scores enough points every home game and then turn the ticket in...

  2. No. He made us wait to long, so as punishment he has to come off the bench.

    ACC/B1G Challenge

I usually don't root for Notre Dame, but in this challenge I'd like to see them steamroll their opponent by 30+ points!

  9. I am really happy about who is coming in this year. We are getting a good outside shooter from Kansas. I hustling hybrid from Colorado and Nebraska Player of the year. We want to run and gun and press and run, so I think we got what will work. I am also happy to call these new girls HUSKERS! We will win with what we got.

  12. If there's any way that the PF transfer coming from Lexington, KY (Marcus Lee) could graduate over the summer to then become a grad transfer, Mr. Lee would be the hottest late prospect of the 2016 summer recruitment season. https://www.sny.tv/college-recruiting/news/marcus-lee-withdraws-from-nba-draft-will-transfer-from-kentucky/180151898 There is approximately a 0% chance we land Lee....there is a 0.000% chance we land him if he graduates and is immediately eligible. Booooooo!!

  13. This is from the NCAA guidelines...there may be more to it, but I am not going to kill myself reading through the entire rule book: Competition while enrolled in graduate program. [DI/DII] A student-athlete who is enrolled in a full-time graduate program needs to carry the amount of credit hours as defined by the institution to be considered full-time. And this is from the UNL Student - Athlete handbook: Academic Eligibility Eligibility for Competition and the Six-Hour Rule A student-athlete, enrolled as an undergraduate student or as a graduate student, is required to complete a minimum of six semester hours of degree-applicable academic credit in the previous full-time regular academic term to be eligible for competition. To be eligible to compete in a postseason event (e.g., conference tournament, bowl game, NCAA Championship) that occurs between regular terms, a student-athlete must have completed 6 semester hours of degree-applicable credit in the previous academic term.

  15. Andrew White decides to come back and my Pandora station plays the Beatles "You've got to hide your love away" immediately followed by Modern English "I'll stop the world and melt with you." Life is good. And did I mention I broke out a new bottle of Hendricks Gin? Life is really frickin good.

  16. I'd be surprised if the starting lineup didn't look like below to start the season. The rest of the rotation is more uncertain IMO. 1. Watson 2. Webster 3. Jacobsen 4. White 5. Morrow 6. Gill 7. Roby 8. McVeigh 9. Tshimanga 10. Horne 11. Fuller

  18. “We are excited to have Andrew remain with our program,” Nebraska Coach Tim Miles said. “This has been a valuable time for him, as he has tested his skills against some of the best competition and received very important insight from key NBA personnel. We look forward to continuing to help Andrew's development to improve his NBA profile even more than he already has done through this process. I believe next year could be our most complete team with a great opportunity for success in the Big Ten and NCAA tournament, I'm happy Andrew will be with us to go out and prove it.” http://www.huskers.com/ViewArticle.dbml?DB_OEM_ID=100&ATCLID=210977594

  29. I would guess Ohio St is the only "lock" left in the tournament, so to avoid a team stealing a bid. We should want them to win. We definitely do not want Iowa winning the thing.

  32. All I gotta say (besides thank you Andrew for deciding to come back) is that Ed Morrow better watch his ass because Horne might not be as athletic but he's more of a complete player and I'm virtually certain he'll do more than dunks during warmups.

  33. Take a couple of deep breaths, it will be fine. AW-III is back at Nebraska. And presumably better than ever!! And, for good measure, Drew receives one more opportunity to show Bill Self, the KU program, and all of Allen Fieldhouse just how good he is! GBR

  34. He can only be better by going through this process, correct? He knows what he has to work on. He has always been a good team player. Man, if he can improve his handles, if he can improve his ability to take the ball to the hole, if he can improve his lateral defense, IF, IF, IF, he is going to be really special next year.

  35. I hate seeing lineups without Webster starting, but I can't say I don't like this lineup. There really seams to be no wrong answer with who starts out of the 4. It'll be tough choices for Coach Miles, that's for sureI agree that Webster is talented and if my projected lineup is correct, then I think Webster could be a preseason favorite for the Big Ten 6th man award. I think he is that good. But I also think he may be better coming off of the bench. There are very talented players that for whatever reason just play a little bit better coming off of the bench. My projection of him as the 6th man isn't an indictment of his talent. It's a testament to the talent level on this roster across the board.Whether or not Webster starts, or is the 1st man off of the bench, I believe he will be a very key contributor to Nebraska's regular season and post season success next year.

It'll be tough choices for Coach Miles, that's for sure Webster has shown many times over that he's better in a Manu-Ginobli-come-off-the-bench role. I would never pencil him into our starting lineup, but I still consider him one of our 5 best players.

  42. Tell you what, Norm, go ahead and move on. It's OK, really. Just allow the rest of us to express our opinions. If Natalie's comments made a recruit uneasy I expect that was an unintentional result. Nevertheless, if that was part of Doyle's reason for decommitting then the truth is that not only did Nat abandon us but she dropped a poison pill into the water on the way out. For that I should wish her the best of everything in the future? I don't think so.
