  1. Lue would have been perfect to take over for Buckner. Why didn't Miles wait until the Cavs season was over and offer him the job?

  4. We are all Bias, but Andrew needs to look at this team and ask himself this "Is this team better than last year and can help highlight my skills" If White wants to be a spot shooter/3 point threat at the next level, I think the additions of Jordy/Roby/Gill/Horne can help him show off that ability. The team is going to be better than last year. I think this team will be good enough to play in the postseason and therefore give White some of the exposure he needs to get some scouts talking. I honestly think Andrew is talented enough to play a couple years in the NBA but he needs to get in the gym and just grind to build those skills up. Buddy Heild was considered a good shooter and a later 1st rounder. He spent the summer just shooting and shooting and shooting and now he might end up being a top 5 pick. Come back and commit yourself to fix the flaws the NBA teams share with you and hopefully the pieces around you will allow you to truly show off what you are capable of.

  5. The whole degree in hand argument is crazy. Seth Davis I believe was on Twitter telling kids traveling and playing major conference basketball is better than rigors and penny's earned in the D league. The same has been said on a career overseas, that option isn't going away by staying another year and in that year becoming a better prospect. Right now, Terran is/was better than Andrew. Andrew is a good player but needs to improve his tape to be. Better NBA prospect.

  6. He's going to the University of Duke? Heard the University of Duchess didn't offer. Surprisingly. Thinking he was out of their league, they didn't have the balls to offer.

  8. He's a freshman post player...you're going to be disappointed. I'd say about a 1% chance he averages 20+ minutes per game You don't have to be disappointed, it doesn't mean I can't be. Would you have imagined Michael Jacobson averaging the minutes he did last year? Or perhaps, the minutes Tai averaged his freshman year? This young man is coming into the program with a mental and physical maturity. He plays a position where we lack depth. He comes into a program in need of someone to protect the paint/rim. Yes, I have high expectations. If he plays 10 to 12 minutes a half and Michael splits his time between the post and power forward positions, it will likely meet my expectations.

  11. Great to see them working on developing skills. If kids would do this in the summer rather than playing dozens of AAU games, the product on the floor would improve considerably! Of course, these guys (well, one of them at least) already is in college, so he's working on getting better rather than getting noticed.

  12. Best reason to convince AW-III to announce his choice. The children. Please save the poor child who will become a pariah without #3 at the Vault next season.

  17. That's very apparent...any team tells him they're picking him and he's gone. The question is whether or not he's going to do so without a guarantee of being picked. Terran left without a guaranty of getting picked, and he didn't get picked. He took a risk, and things still turned out well for him.The question is whether Andrew is willing to take a similar risk. Looks to me like the answer to such a question is, "Yes." You may end up being right....but Terran Petteway on 4/16/15 announced he would not be returning. The draft game is different now, but if Andrew White was so gung ho on going the Petteway route no matter what....why has he not hired an agent already? Good points. Just holding out hope...Nebraska could be his fallback plan if he gets injured during work outs etc.....I think you are probably right, it sounds as if he's gone but I hope he surprises us next week. I just don't think he knows and he's waiting on others to tell him his fate. That's why he's said from the beginning that he'll go to the deadline before he decides. He may surprise us next week and announce he's coming back but right now his goal is to not be at Nebraska next year. Right now he's putting everything he has into trying to earn love from NBA teams. He's got the Nebraska fall back option secured. I don't know why anyone would expect him to hint that he's coming back or anything like that. To him that would be admitting failure. That's why I don't put much stock into the idea that he's gone no matter what. In AWIII's mind, he's 100% focused on making the NBA (his goal) and believes he can do so. Now when all of his workouts are done with, if its evident that he won't be NBA bound this year, then he'll announce to come back to Nebraska.

  18. I'll say it: I want Andrew to return for his senior year. I think it would be better for him and it would most certainly be better for us. Andrew, please come back to Nebraska for your senior year. We have the big man that someone said you wanted us to have. If that guy turns out to be wrong, he's going to get ridiculed mercilessly on this board. You don't want that on your conscience, do you?

  19. Speaking of Grant Gibbs...I saw Jeter and JD put a hurting on him yesterday. Holy crap you're right Well I am just amazed that a 55 year old guy could still be playing. Because wasn't Gibbs like a 49 year old senior.

    NCAA rule changes

I have always thought the time out moving to half court was the dumbest rule in the NBA. For God's sake aren't they the best in the world? Make them go the full court!

    NCAA rule changes

Moving the ball to the front court on a time out is pure and utter communism. And the 24 second clock is an abomination. Go ahead and ruin the game, what the hell.
