  1. Did I hear my name? I'm N but I think I'm out of eligibility. (along with being out of shape, out of youth, out of bounds, out of size and anything else you could think of)

  2. From his highlight reel, it looks like he doesn't finish at the rim; he finishes above it.

  3. What do you mean "N"? When we say that on recruiting threads, it has a particular meaning. You're not supposed to say that unless you have solid info from a reliable source. So, when you said "N" what were you intending by that?

  5. No doubt. If that final sentence were to happen, that would be the best-case scenario (provided they are ballers, of course). Yeah, I do think Osetkowski is a good player and could be successful at Nebraska, so I hope that it doesn't come off like I think he wouldn't be good. My concern is that Nebraska has a chance to be better next year than they have ever been in my lifetime. With a core group of Watson, Gill, White, Morrow, Jacobson, and Webster, they are very talented at every position except Center/Rim Protector. Doesn't even have to be an offensive powerhouse, just someone that will keep Nebraska from being seriously outmatched down low if their opponent has 1-2 legit post players. Someone that can consistently grab rebounds and challenge the shots of opposing team's guards if they try to take it to the rim off the dribble. I have a feeling that White is going to have a special senior year next season, so I don't want to see that wasted because Nebraska is outmatched in the post.

    In state kids?

Great pick up for ND State. I'm really shocked he was not offered. That kid can flat out play.

    In state kids?

I think it has to be 20 pages per kid...so keep naming players and we're in the clear.

  8. I remember Henson playing for K-State back when Lon Kruger was the coach there. Man, I'm dating myself a bit there, huh? He was one of those guys you loved to hate. Kind of an early version of that guy from Ohio State whose name I'm not going to say. Damn good freethrow shooter, though.

  9. This is a little concerning though basically having another Andrew White who can cover the other team's SG will be nice. Glynn/Tai are going to be critical for us penetrating into the lane though Glynn will need to learn to finish this year in the trees. My memory of Anton Gill from the exhibition scrimmage at the beginning of the season is this: he can get his shot off any time and from anywhere, off the dribble or off an assist, and under heavy pressure too -- and it goes in the hoop.Anyone remember this differently?

  11. Not that Nebraska is really in any position to turn post players down, but at this point I think they need 1-2 post players that can come in an contribute immediately. I think Nebraska should only go after a traditional transfer that has to sit out 1 season, if someone else transfers, which would give Nebraska 3 open scholarships. I think the 2 open scholarships should go to 1 grad transfer post player and 1 high school post player.

  15. Understand that. But having seen the kid play several times while he was in high school, he is pretty smooth. Guessing he lands back in Columbia. Doubt they'd allow him to transfer within the conference freely.

  16. I concur, col. Got to watch him play several times in high school. Outside of needing more beef, kid is pretty smooth.

    B1G in the WNIT

This is the same Oregon team that beat current final 4 Washington team by 12 late in the season on the road. Smoked by the Yotes!!

  18. I envision a scenario where Jake sat down w/ Coach and asked for a "no b-s assessment" of where he thought he would fit in next year at Nebraska. What Miles did tell him, or was able to tell him, regarding his future in light of our recruiting efforts probably highly formed his decision. But I doubt he was asked politely to more or less leave. By the way, what I'm getting at here is that we didn't need Jake to leave in order to add just ONE more player. See what I'm saying? Oh I agree. In fact I felt if we could add a solid starting center, Jake would add excellent depth to that position. That's true and I agree. But that wasn't the point I was driving at. If all Miles wanted to do was add ONE additional player, we already had room for him to do that. But now we have room for TWO additional players. And I rather suspect Miles isn't planning on carrying an empty scholarship this year. Now do you see what I'm saying? I think I smell what you're stepping in. You think Jake's departure is part of a larger plan of Miles to bring in two new players that he must feel pretty confident he can get?

    B1G in the WNIT

Amy Gusso Williams keeps bringing it. Up big in the WNIT over Oregon. 68-32 after 3. EDIT: 88-54 final. At one point they were 14-19 from 3. One of the Bradleys from Norfolk getting time.

    Strength of the B1G

NC State was 10-6 in ACC play. They tied Miami for 5/6 place. When healthy we beat them soundly.
