Some one mentioned MSU was frustrated. It was apparent several times. Powers obviously, but the rest of their team did show it several times. Hines made a big frown when she was stopped by Jess and Allie. Remember, Jess driving to the basket and scoring over MSU's other big girl, and she just sort of threw her hands in the air...like saying.."there's no way to stop her." (Jess) They could never get close to us...every time they got within about 5 pts...we sank a 3 or what ever and go back up to 10 ahead. We did it several times. They aren't used to that.

Yogi Ferrell is 4 of 21 on 3 pointers over his last three games. that doesn't look good for the Huskers.

Fair enough. But you've been able (or maybe you haven't noticed, IDK) to see a group of new players come in and grow game by game, learning what it takes to play at the B1G level. Everyone wants to win more games, but there are a bunch of good things that have happened this season.

The commentators from last night's game said that once she learns the ropes on defense and starts hitting her 15 foot jumpers she will become really special. She already is as a freshman but will be able to compete for more national honors over time.

Just want to play well at Indiana. It will be a tough one to pull out.

I would love to just finish strong, however that looks. I'll never forget that game against Wichita State in the NIT. That was a demoralized team/program. I never want to be there again.

I couldn't believe how big of a cry baby Powers was. That was awful. She was talking some mad crap that last quarter. I am not sure Hines is a "Thug". She just has a big body and its hard to control it against some of the smaller girls. I thought she played a fair game.

Next step in broadcasting evolution: Letting someone named Trevor broadcast games from India. He could probably do at least 5 games a day for 50 cents an hour. And for additional flavor they just need to supply him with a continuously looped tape of Dickie V screaming HE NEEDS A T.O. BABY! and DIAPER DANDY!

Remember, Rutgers and Minnesota still have two games to play against each other. February 27th and March 5th. I have a feeling those are going to be some pretty hotly contested games!

More Nebrasketball is never a bad thing.

Nat and Jess did a nice job in the interview. We are very blessed to have some quality young women in are program.

It will be interesting to see how it comes out later. Jess will be on Freshman All Big team for sure...maybe Captain if they have one. It should be very close as Bugs says for Jess on All Big team. Can't think of another B1G center that is consistently as productive, let alone better.

Wow, Eeyore. "Terrible"? That's sure a forlorn description. I've had quite a number of good times as a season ticket holder. Nowhere near "terrible". An enjoyable past time in fact. Of course, that could be because I usually stop off in the Railyard prior to the games.

They could no doubt get in. Not sure they'd take something below the NIT. It's possible, but not a sure thing.When we had a losing record 2 years ago miles was more interested in recruiting and he said the team didn't want to play.Since we have a bunch of pieces on campus for the next few years I see no reason not to get them more practice together. If Nebraska is sitting there at 16-16 or 17-15 and do not make the N.I.T., I'd hope that the Vegas tourney is on the docket. Could be a good landing spot for Nebrasketball to continue to gain valuable experience playing together in "March Madness"-lite.

Kenpom gives us a 15% chance of winning. We only had 9% at MSU. So, quite an improvement!

Hines is built like a shot putter. I watched on TV yesterday and didn't have a negative impression of her, just thought she was a strong girl, maybe a tad frustrated toward the end but nothing like Powers. Dang, Powers should have just been benched. I know at one time the coach pulled her out when she was starting to lose it, but then she came right back in and had a meltdown. Can't wait to watch Cinco guard her again next year. Or maybe in the Big10 tourney this year! Did anyone see Powers when she shoulder bumped Burns as she was walking off the court? Burns really gave her a look - good for her!

Except for Villanova, we hung w/ every one of those 1-150 losses to the end, when it became fouling time. The final score in many of those games don't indicate how close they really were. This is why TM thinks we are closer than a lot of people realize.

As of right now this isn't an accurate statement. Narrative that we are a better team than what? You're the Eeyore of this board. Just because everyone else doesn't walk around here with a loser mentality doesn't mean our expectations nor our comprehension of our current status is out of whack.

I think we win all 3 of those games but we could also lose all 3. Penn state will be less likely to quit at home like they did in Lincoln. And I don't have a great feeling about osu at home.
