I don't think Nee even had an out of bounds play after Gary Bargen and Jeff Smith left. It was sad to watch.

Checked out the photos. Glad I played 35 years ago, 'cause there's no way I'm seeing the floor with these athletes. They look like college guys. The world has changed a bunch.

yes lets burn biggs' redshirt so we can finish with 14 wins instead of 10 I understand what you're saying. We waste a redshirt year and it only makes us marginally better. Maybe. Is it worth it? That's a good question.What happens if we don't burn his shirt and we only win 3 more games all season? Or 4 in your scenario? Would that potentially hurt recruiting efforts? It might. If we burn the shirt and get to 14 wins as you suggest, there won't be as much negative effect on future recruiting if there's a negative effect at all. I think that's something to consider. I think Doc hit a brick wall with recruiting because, after 4 years, the program didn't appear to be moving forward. In order for Miles to avoid that, he's going to have to consider things that help him win more games sooner. JMOO.

I understand this is a necessary evil...yet it is still depressing that even over the break, we cannot find students to fill the red zone. Here is an idea, offer Lincoln Public and Private school students $1 tickets for those games. I think the HS students would bring a bit of excitement to the floor rather than parents, grandparents and others. Just a thought.

I think this thread is more about comparing volleyball to football than it ever was about John Cook. I suppose if someone figured out how to insert the brain of Terry Pettit into a new body, I'd be down with that as an alternative. (I'd also be down with this for Devaney as football coach though please don't share this with Kansas St as immortal Bill Snyder will destroy us all.)

Per an article in the LJS, he has the green light to shoot. I read somewhere on this board that he did not have that permission. Anyone see Cool Hand Luke...
