- NU shot rather poorly from the perimeter. And they still found a way to get to 75. That's a good sign.
- I think we got a glimpse of what Miles wants his offense to be. There was a lot of movement and rather aggressive and they found ways to get some open looks. But for as aggresive as we were, it would be nice to find a way to get to the line some as well.
- Benny Parker can be a spark plug. But if he's not going to score points, he needs to do better distributing the ball. I know he had some foul trouble in first half which contributed to that as well.
- Andre had a monster day, and he should have as UNO didn't have anyone who really had much of a chance slowing him down. Still, it was good to see him actually finish at the rim today. It was also nice to be able to sit him for quite a while in the second. Had some nice passing out of the post, too.
- Also on Andre, he takes a lot of contact and because he's so big, it doesn't move him. I'd like to think that when we get into conference play we'll see more of that, but in a lot of ways, I don't think his line showed how much he really did down low today.
- Talley, while he had an off day from the perimeter, he was able to get to the rim a bit.
- Ray settled for too many outside jumpers. I'd like to see him venture into the trees a little more and see if he can get to the line. IIRC, when he came to NU, he was known for his mid-range jumper, not his 3 point shooting. Would be nice to see that come back.
- Miles on his post game show said the players thought they took UNO lightly. They certainly played like it early.
You guys take it from there...
