    Creighton ... check.

    Iowa ... check.

    Wisconsin ... check.

    I'm good here.

I just want to point out that Ohio State is 11-14 (3-11), #13 in the conference, their biggest win on the season was against (now) a 13-12 (2-10) team (#9 of 10 in their conference), and they just barely broke 1-point a minute against Michigan State today.

Finally, what I am about to say may be scoffed at, but I thought the referees did a pretty good job for us.  It may have looked different on TV.  It was physical; but to me that is big boy BigTen basketball.

I'll freely admit that I'm usually the first and most vociferous at bitching about the officiating, which is bad across the country, but really bad with the crews the B1G regularly gets.  But I'll agree with you that this game, while still containing several SMH calls, was called fairly evenly.  Wisconsin is always a physical, reaching, slapping team that rarely gets fouls called on them that should be called.  This game the calls were made against them as they should be, for once.

The ditch weasels didn't drive to basket very often, choosing to pull up in the lane or shoot from longer range (Chucky's step-back jumpers, for example).  Their only attacks to the hoop were by the big boys backing down and lowering the shoulder into the defender, which was let go each way.  If they'd have gone all the way to the hoop from outside the lane, they surely would've got more calls to go their way.

The fact that this happened with the follically-challenged f#@$-stick Carstensen and fellow incompetent cueballs rounding out the striped troika still has me dumbfounded.

Well, I’m going to go ahead & say it: Depending on the draw we get in the Tourney, the New Rotations, a Healthy Blaise paired up with Derrick on his Farewell Tour, Purdue vs NU for the B1G Tournament Title is all too REAL!

Hear me out, I haven’t been locked in a dark room for 4 days or taken mushrooms, you really only have to beat ONE Good team to get to the Final, & we can certainly do that. The opening games will be in our weight class & if there’s an upset on the other side you have beat an Illinois or Michigan on a Neutral Court to advance. Not saying it’s likely, but it’s NOT ARog on Horsepills crazy. Look at 2019…

I'm not intending to lead the posse to lock you in a padded room...but; I'm more concerned about playing well at Rutgers.  Maybe if we win at Rutgers...maybe I will start dreaming of post season basketball in one form or another. 😇

11 seed is entirely possible and leads to a bracket with Iowa > Maryland > ??? and Indiana and Purdue on the other side. Give me some of those horsepills!

Nice thought but I don't see us beating Rutgers. I'm just hoping we can win out at home.

Shoot, i'm just hoping for a respectable, close loss rather than all the road blowouts we've had. If anybody wants a shred of hope though Rutgers is 0-2 without Mawot Mag in the starting lineup and are scoring 10 ppg under their average in his absence

So you're saying some random dude is going to go off and we'll get a comment "and _______ just passed his season high in points with 2 minutes to go in the first half!" from the announcers?  Sounds about Nebrasketball.

It often seems that some second tier player goes off for a season-best or career-best game against Nebraska.  Probably a result of focusing the defensive effort on the best players, but it sure would be nice if the overlooked guys wouldn't shoot 20 % points over their average and double their average scoring.

Blaise Keita randomly appeared in the 2nd half and had 11 rebounds. Keisei erupted for 30 a couple of games ago.  It tends to happen both ways.

Rutgers is a Quad 1 game for us. As is the road game at Iowa. The only Quad 1 game at home left on our schedule is Maryland. Mich St is a Quad 2 and Minnesota is a Quad 4.

So, of our 5 remaining regular season games, three of them are Quad 1, one is a Quad 2, and one is a Quad 4.

From what I've seen, I think we have a shot at winning out at home; I do not think we have a shot at picking up a road game.

In order for us to get to .500, therefore, we would need to win out at home AND pick up two wins in the conference tourney. And I think that would get us to 17-17. If my math is right. Which it usually isn't.
