    uneblinstu's postgame chatter: vol 11; ed 36 - NIT @ TCU

      *NIT* TCU 88 - Nebraska 72

Hot shooting Horned Frogs and foul trouble end Nebraska's season in Dallas

What a disappointing way for things to come to an end.

    - Roby was killer. Just torpedoed any chance we had to make a game of it. The whole F2 thing with the TCU player was not good either.

    - It didn't help that JPJ didn't show up for the first half either. 0-10 at the break was pretty killer, too. Nice that he came out on fire in the second.

    - Tanner played his butt off, but he's not a guy that can carry a team. If you add that to normal JPJ and Roby games, maybe we've got something to work with.

    - And now we wait for whatever's next. I think it comes quickly. Probably tomorrow if it doesn't come tonight. If the rumors are true, the future is exciting, but right now, I'm bummed with how this season and this game went.

If this is the end for Coach Miles, I'll always remember this era of Nebraska basketball fondly, for many reasons. I wish, oh how I wish, it would have ended differently...

Glynn is always going to be one of my favorite players.

JPJ and Isaac thank you for sticking around for your senior season.

Tanner for always bringing it every game.

Johnny I'm so happy that you were table to take advantage of your opportunities.

For the rest of the guys, specifically that group that could make the core of next years team, Amir, Karrington, Dachon, Thomas, Thorir, Brady and especially Isaiah please stick with Nebraska. We are going to be there with you next year.

Didn't include Nana as I have my doubts he will be here next season.

Is this the official Tweet stating that the season is indeed "over"?

My sources say that we will not have enough wins to make the NBA playoffs

I'll bet Kent wished he could have "put more of a bow," as it were, on the Tim Miles era at the end of the game last night.  Probably wanted to say more, but couldn't.  Hear you next year Kent, God willin'.
