    Michigan Most frequently used lineup

    10 Derrick Walton
    6-1  190  Sr
    12 Muhammad-Ali Abdur-Rahkman
    6-4  190  Jr
    21 Zak Irvin
    6-6  215  Sr
    5 DJ Wilson
    6-10  240  So
    13 Moritz Wagner
    6-11  240  So

You'll see most of this lineup on the court all day as Michigan doesn't dig too deep into the bench for minutes.

Ed Morrow is back in the starting lineup over Jordy due to the Huskers needing to respect the 3pt shooting ability of all the Wolverines.

    Player to Watch: Zak Irvin

Michigan's roster is almost the opposite of Nebraska's, comprised mostly of guards and PF/C types. 6'6" senior Irvin is really the only SF type player on the roster and he leads the team in mid-range jumpers. Irvin also is the only guy on the team not burning the nets in B1G play.

    Miles Presser

Miles noted that a certain group of players on the court at the same time were part of the reason we've found ourselves not countering on some big runs. Not exactly sure who he's talking about but at least we think we have something.

    The Skinny

How well does Michigan feel about making the tournament?  It would have been nice for them to win vs Northwestern and sort of drift into this game.  Michigan scores as well as anyone...everyone they put on the court can and will shoot 3s including all their post players. This sort of offense was the kiss of death to Nebraska last year though this year they've been slightly better about simply denying the shots. Defensively what you're looking to do here is slow down Michigan and realize you cannot fully shut them down...you just have to be ready to punch back.

Michigan will try to deny Nebraska entry into the lane though with their lack of athleticism and lack of shot blocking it's a matter of will. The Huskers probably won't out shoot Michigan so they'll need to dominate both boards in order to grab those extra shot attempts.  Michigan typically doesn't beat itself so it will be up to the Huskers to close them out. Are we still hung over from the last 3 losses?

Michigan is 2-8 on the road and Moe Wagner's splits home vs away highlight their issues. Does Nebraska have the eye of the tiger tonight?

    Prediction: Nebraska 75 - Michigan 71 with a 56% of Runzas
