    The Skinny

You could make the argument the Hawkeyes are playing better without Jok but it should be with the caveat of it being an injured Peter Jok. Your argument would also rely on pointing to victories over an Ohio St team that struggles on the road and a not great Rutgers squad.  Jok's return to the lineup tonight should definitely help the Hawks.

With the Hawkeyes somewhat struggling in conference play shooting for outside look for Iowa to attempt to pass inside all day today to Tyler Cook and Cordell Pemsl. Unlike Michigan St, Northwestern, and Rutgers this Iowa team isn't going to grind through much time to take a shot. Expect a more energetic showing as the Huskers don't have to work for 25 seconds a posession.

Like most young teams the Hawkeyes tend to shoot and play better on the road.  Is Nebraska going to try and run with the Hawks or attempt to grind out an away game? Either way, the Huskers will need to remember that Iowa will give you open looks and you just need to knock them down. Will they?

The Huskers tend to bounce back after loses. Will they in what should be a fairly hostile crowd today?

    Prediction: Iowa 82 - Nebraska 75
