Our first upset! we only get outrebounded by 3 boards, and Shields and Ray have great games. shields 17 points and 8 boards. Ray has 23 points and makes 5 threes. AA plays 17-20 minutes and has 8 pts and 6 boards.

The guys come out with an intensity we have not seen yet this year.  They are all hungry for a win, even Almeida (pun intended).  Gallegos starts off 3 of 5 from 3's, and Nebraska takes an Early lead.  Miles gets a T early in the second, and Michigan State pulls even.  Nebraska then restarts the fire from earlier in the game and pulls away later for a shocking Big 10 first win.

Then Ubel gets hurt a few days before the game.  Serj has to play meaningful minutes, and we limp to 40 points.
