Some fairly helpful items I found were

Breaking down 2pt jumpers vs shots around the rim and % of shots made that were assisted.

From that I can see

Last year 34% of Tai's shots came at the rim. This year it's 51.7%

For the first time in the Tim Miles era we don't have the guy who takes the most shots for us jacking up 3 pointers.

Previously we had

Dylan Talley 2013 - 56.9% 3pt assist rate

Petteway      2014 - 50.0% 3pt assist rate

Petteway      2015 - 51.5% 3pt assist rate

Watson        2016 - 77.8% 3pt assist rate (Watson has the 4th most shot attempts on the team)

So, we're liking the 3 and loving the rim, is that what you're saying?

Tai certainly is.

Overall though we don't get to the rim nearly as much as anyone would like and it's due to the lack of a post offense that is pretty clear to anyone who watches us play.

If you're talking about the 3pt% numbers I posted, that's an indication that we are working for 3s in the offense as opposed to a guy just jacking one up there.
