Another year where we may get to sneak up on a few teams...

I'd much rather fly under the radar. Less pressure - better for the young guys.

I'd rather over-perform under-expectations (2013/14) than under-perform over-expectations (like last year).  We could be back in that 'unheralded' mode again.  ;)

Huskers will be the doormat of the Big Ten this year. 1 player over 6’8″ on the roster and he rode the bench last year. With the plethora of “Bigs” in the conference, they’ll be eaten alive on the boards.

We got'em right where we want'em.

Alright this is a reach, but a point to ponder. Kentucky's  '96 Title team of Antoine Walker, Ron Mercer, Walter McCarty etc. were all in the 6'7" - 6'8" range but they could ALL shoot and they could ALL handle the ball. I'm hoping we can play a similar brand of ball and hold our own against the Purdues of the world. Run n Gun baby, Run n Gun...

All I have to say is... This team has two players 7'0+ and Ed Morrow worked them... Not only do they have two 7'0+ guys... They were both ranked in the top 10 by ESPN

We will be fine!!!

Edit they were 6'10 and 7'0 and only rated 11 and 12

Sorry to be Mr. Cold Shower here, but Walter McCarty was listed at 6'10" or 6'11" during his career.  Antoine Walker was listed at 6'8" or 6'9". Kentucky had three on the roster who were 6'10" or 6'11" who played in the NBA (McCarty, Mark Pope, Nazr Mohammed).

That 1996 UK team was a bunch of ballers, their stud guard was hurt just prior to the Big Dance & it didn't faze 'em one bit.
