Transfer F Anton Grady -> Wichita St.

His last 3 games of the season Anton had at least 20 pts & 10 reb. Eleven double-doubles this past year. Sign him up, if he holds up!

This excerpt from the cleveland.com story is very Leslee Smith-esque with a hint of Moses Abraham:

As for the 6-8, 225-pound Grady out of Cleveland Central Catholic High, his departure is a head-scratcher considering he has struggled with knee issues throughout his career, to the point he is almost exclusively an undersized post player.

And against almost every team with a quality post presence, even at the mid-major level last season, Grady often became limited offensively and foul prone.

A news report says he hinted in a tweet that he would be playing within four hours driving time of Cleveland. If true, that would eliminate all Kansas, Nebraska, Iowa and North Carolina schools on that list and limit choices to Xavier, Dayton and Pitt.

Considering he's from Cleveland and went to Cleveland St. for school I'd buy that. Good to see us working the phones though.

this would be a miracle get. don't see it happening.

OK, so how 'bout this?  This very attractive candidate for the big man spot comes out of Cleveland State and the programs falling all over themselves to get a big all try to land him ... and eventually he decides.  And now, the place he picked is no longer in the market for a big man.

So, NEXT week, when someone else who's even BETTER graduates, we'll have less competition.

How's that sound?  :)
