With all the adversity we had to go through out the year we did ourselves proud! Keep your head up girl's future's bright!

 

Starting to have withdrawals already!

 

Good experience for our young ones that played this year, can only help us next year and beyond!

It has been a pleasure to follow these 4 Senior Girls through their career at NU.  Gutty, tough, competitors and good representatives of the University and the State of Nebraska.  

 

Tonight's game was about turnovers.  Too many bad passes at inopportune times.  Loved the courage to keep battling back.

 

Looking forward to a future with a nucleus of Theriot (healthy) Romeo, Smith and Havers to build around.

The refs were not very good at what they're supposed to do.....lots of fouls that weren't good calls, among things that weren't called correctly, or at all.

As said we had too many turnovers, some fouls that weren't normally called, we couldn't slow down their scorer enough. Seemed like we were out of "sync" some of the time (which was partly because of the oranges full court defense.)

 

But we fought through all of it...very gutty performance.....very gutty. It was just a close game, with pretty equal teams...one wins and one loses.

 

Our girls had a tough year...in lots of ways. They all responded well...the coaches and players. Next year will be a completely different team. Will be fun adventure once again.
