Update on some of the more interesting holiday tournaments:

Might want to keep an eye on this Crofton team they're just mopping up their opponents. They beat an undefeated C-1Ainsworth team who was averaging 64 points per game 80-24 Monday and then beat D-1 top ranked St Mary's 66-26. A week earlier they went to Sioux Falls SD and beat the defending state champs of South Dakota's highest class Sioux Falls Washington 56-45. Lot of talk now that this may be the best girls team in Nebraska this year.

Northeast beat a Jessica Shepard less Fremont team for the HAC title tonight 59-44.

Omaha Benson and Millard West meet tomorrow for the Metro Conference championship.

Last night's game between the Atkinson-West Holt and Crofton girls is one most likely the West Holt team will never forget and after the season, will start to talk about for many years to come.

They found themselves on the wrong end of the stick in the end, losing 77 - 4 !

Ouch, maybe a forfeit was in order.
